Ironically, I have the 15 and 16 seeds coming down to a 3 team tie for the last 2 slots.

I have Pender (win over Ponca), Ponca (loss to Pender), and Amherst all tied at 358.

However, since it is a 3-way tie, the head-to-head for Pender over Ponca doesn't mean anything. It would come down to Ponca and Amherst getting in because each has a Division 1 win, while Pender does not.

Crazy.

Best of luck to Centura! I had the pleasure of reffing them recently and they displayed the best sportsmanship I’ve seen all year. Coaches were first class and the players were too! I hope they have some fans on here because, their board and administration need to know that their coaches do things the RIGHT way and are developing high character young men.

The Ravenna at Sandy Creek game has huge implications this week. Ravenna should be favored as they’re undefeated, but the game is at Sandy Creek - so who knows. I see that #5 for Ravenna should be healthy this week - that’s huge for them as he is a really good running back. Hard to tackle and top end speed. Unfortunately #12 for Sandy Creek didn’t play last week and is possibly out this week. That’s a huge loss for the Cougars as #12 is as good a TE/LB as there is in D1. Really interested what others think about this game.

Ravenna is 1 thing, fast. They will break off a couple long TDs im sure. However I think they will run into the same issue that Central Valley did. They will be severely undersized in the trenches vs Sandy Creek. They will not move the ball north and south with consistency. They will have to make up for it by getting to the edge. I just dont see them overcoming the disadvantage in the trenches and getting stuffed in the run game for the first time all year. Also their schedule has been very subpar compared to the other top teams in D1. 50-22 SC

Wow - not going to lie I assumed Ravenna might roll in this game. Especially if #12 (Biltoft I believe) doesn't play. Should be an interesting game for sure.

He is a nice player - but Kam Sealey is still Kam Sealey. Just my opinion. Hope the TE can come back, wasn’t aware he was hurt. Hate that for all kids.

Cross county will only get 41 points for beating Cedar bluffs so won't that put them in a tie as well. They will be in as district champs but with an Amherst win that puts them at 369?

I'm not sure what you're asking? I have the last team in at 358. I have Cross County at 369.

I'm not sure what tie you're talking about?

I gotcha now. I was not figuring in a Thayer win and I was figuring NC losing to tekamah.

And a 5-4 record is a division 2 team? I should probably do a little more research next time my bad
