Vandy just gifted to championship game. No contest for game 2. Feel bad for NC State. Could have won it. Thanks again China!! 😠
Of course. NCSt’s pitcher who blanked Vandy on Monday was going to take the mound Saturday. How can they be allowed to play Friday but not Saturday? Were the locker rooms sanitized prior to MSU or Texas entering them? COLLUSION

So this proves that the vaccine is complete ******** right?
Quite the opposite. Based on the coach’s comments, it appears at least some are not vaccinated. According to the NCAA had players and coaches been vaccinated, they wouldn’t have been tested for COVID. Looks like they did this to themselves. The rolled the COVID dice by not requiring players be vaccinated and lost. Someone should have warned them if Douglas County Health Dept has any say, shut it down wins every time.

Just thinking here but…what would have happened if NC state had won yesterday? Would Texas vs miss st be the championship game tonight?

Interesting observation and outcome, but it didn’t happen..

I’m thinking IF IT Happened they would have not played tonight’s game and Start over on Monday playing 2 out 3 that was planned..

Great. N.C State State has some players in covid protocol. Game delayed.
So, healthy young athletes who test positive can’t play, but it’s ok for the stands to be filled to capacity with fans, many of whom are at much greater risk from covid due to their age/health? And with no requirements at all for those fans to socially distance? We officially live in clown world.

It is inconsistent messaging but being afforded the option to play in an NCAA championship or spectating one are two entirely different sets of privileges and are governed by different protocols. I guess one affords more risk.

Politics aside, the NCAA and organizers of the event set forth policies that were designed to protect the health and well-being of players and coaches. I guess you can use the logic that all of these players and coaches are at very little risk of deleterious effects of the virus (the literature says otherwise). Everyone plays by the same rules and everyone was given the ability to mitigate their risks through personal choice and movement and/or vaccines. It really all boils down to personal choice. The safest outcome for health in this age group is no exposure to COVID or vaccine. Vaccination is the second safest option and infection is the least safe option at this time. The lawyers at the NCAA thought it was in the best interest to protect from infection regardless of consequence and now we see the result. It’s an imperfect solution to a really bad situation. The reality of the situation is that covid isn’t going to disappear. You either roll the dice with infection or with the vaccines. The NCAA/CWS policy is less kind to the infection route.

Ugh - Dawgs had a nice rally going, but a double play might have snuffed it. Back within one run though.

Lost the Polk Bible when I moved. Sent a letter to him asking about the cost for another one and he sent me a handwritten note with a copy back to me. Was awesome to get and still have the letter and the book. Polk was an early savage on the NCAA as well on their BS

I guess now I understand espn obsession with the bob kerry bridge. They said they walk it every day to get to TD Ameritrade Park which means they're spending their lodging$$ in counciltucky. I assume because all teams staying in Omaha hotels??
