You can even see the official leaning the ball towards the first down marker but it will just not reach. What a 17'n joke!

It's not just a camera angle or a chain in the wrong space. Our players all started celebrating on the field until the refs signaled first down.

I remember that the way they got away with it is that they leaned the stick back towards the ball.

I seem to remember that it was a more than generous spot favoring AU as well making the call even more ridiculous.

Poetic justice would be stopping them inside the 1 to win the game or I would take a 53 yard field goal as time expires to win the game. However, what I want is a score similar to Jackson State and them all leaving the field with a limp looking like Mayhem from the All State commercials.

Does anyone have any word if any of their suspended players will be back for the game Saturday?

Yeah. That's what is ludicrous is that the official rolled the ball to its tip and it still didn't reach

Be dominant and never allow the refs to be a factor. Only way to win against an Alabama team. But if they !?&$ us then they don't need to leave the stadium unscathed.

DS has this to look forward to. Of course... He'll have to suffer through a few years of Yo Gabba Gabba before he moves up to Phineas and Ferb, like I had to.

that was the part that got me. I was at that game and remember going WTF!?!? after the players were celebrating and then the ref signaled first down.
