Ok "boyz19" you are somewhat right. I would't say a bunch of games...maybe 1/2 the games. Based on VHSL Reference site here's the results before this year going back to 2008.

I knew when Coach Barr was coaching they had a bunch of close games. James Wood gave Sherando everything they wanted this year but just because they play a good team tough doesn't mean they're a good team.

Last close game was in 2010, 14-7.
