@Rupp'sRunt, I think you and Daniels' were correct on McDaniels. Some odd stuff probably happened that last day or so, like Daruis Rice. That said, I think Daniels heard something solid today.

I don't get the sense in that. The BBM trip was canceled and he was going to come in Nov. so if Evan wanted to do that why not after his UNC visit. They have a huge fanbase and would have created the same effect although on a smaller scale compared to BBN. I mean for all Evan knew when CC took his visit to UNC that was going to be it for a while with USA BB cam starting, but then CC put it back on the schedule. Just saying if this was just for clickbait it seems Evan would have done it after UNC who was getting a ton of buzz then, but he didn't.

JM was coming to UK. At least I think so and so did my source. He was super positive of it. But something turned that decision last minute. Daniels was right on the money; but no one apparently saw him changing his pick line he did. So there’s that.

A lot variables to this question. Who comes back from this year? You could have Quickly, Cunningham, Clarke, Boston and Brooks. Obviously someone will have to rebound and play D down low. That would be about as close to positionless as you could get!
If Cunningham comes, it would mark one of the all-time best trios, that being CC, Clarke, and Askew. But there are serious shortages in the front court. Gotta have rebounders and big man defenders. Don't need all that much scoring production from the bigs, but it would be nice to have at least one who could score, like a Reid Travis. So, you ask about not landing any more elites, well, we probably don't need a Karl Towns, but we sure do need some beef. And, "Where's the beef".

Cunningham is expected to make a decision in the coming weeks and sign during the early signing period in November. So it should not be long before we know.

It's what I expected when he first came here - 2 titles total. Anything beyond that would be beyond my reasonable expectations, but obviously I'd be overwhelmingly thrilled if he won more than two.
No offense to anyone but Im not getting my hopes up and buying in to any of this because we're an easy damn target for massive branding / PR boost to players. Our fanbase can get recruits trending in a second so why not lie to us and get our hopes up?? We've been played too many times to just automatically get your hopes up.

If it did work out that we had CC, Clark and Askew, I think we would be a FF team no matter who we had in the post. The good news is, if CC does come, it looks like the front court will end up loaded as well

Man, if Cal can reel in Askew, CC, Kuminga and Barnes, it would probably be our best class of all time. It just might be the best class of all time, regardless of school. Color me stoked!
