Yea

Everyone knows if you want the limelight the best way to get it is quit your NFL studio tv gig to go coach high school and HBCU football

Perfectly reasonable choices for bag/limelight hunters
He’s a competitive guy, so sitting in a studio chair talking about the old times with a bunch of other has beens probably gets old.

He’s testing himself in a new arena. I think he'll flop. More style than substance.

I think his genetic blood clot issue makes him step down in the next few years. There's articles out there explaining the seriousness of his condition and I'm sure standing around coaching doesn't help with blood flow. How do you coach from a wheelchair if he does end up losing a foot, or leg?
He’ll be lucky to finish this season.

Really? I thought they said his last procedure was routine and he was doing well.
There was nothing routine about that type of procedure. The fact that he’s had multiple clot surgeries and previous amputations is not a good sign. A family member Dr said he could die tomorrow

Deion is a complete moron. Culture and team chemistry are everything in cfb. I will shocked if he turns things around there.
Every Nebraska fan has to know morality, chemistry, and culture have nothing to do with winning...the best team in College football history had its best player in program history attempt to attack a backup QB who was either thrown to the side or hid in a closet, the best and one of the most popular on the team then took a Nebraska athlete and dragged her down the stairs because teammate was banging her. This then created a racial schism in the locker room because one of the most popular and beloved players on the team had been betrayed by a teammate who was a coward, but privileged and white, and the team favorite was suspended. All the while, this team with multiple criminals, including current rapists, future child molesters and rapists, murderers, drug addicts and alcoholics would go on to decimate every team on their schedule with ease. If anything, it seems the more athletic freaks with a little schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or ptsd the better your team is....

P.S: Winning is culture, losing is culture. Winners never have a bad culture, losers never have a good culture because the point of this horrid sport is winning and making money. Nothing else.

P.S.S If you are talking about football nobody cares about like your kid playing offensive line for his high school...and talent is relatively even...sure a team that likes it coach and each other and is disciplined might win more. That isn't major college football though.

I honestly think if many people listened to prime talk about coaching and his philosophy they’d like what they hear.

Very old school.

Sucks he’s CU’s coach because he’s easy to root for IMO. I also absolutely understand why he’s so polarizing.
I like him because he knows, accepts, and communicates the ******** nature of college sports. Many fans want there to be a moral element where the coaches are these paragons of character and they are creating well-rounded, disciplined men and we can be proud of our team and that there is a purpose to all it outside of winning and money. But Deion, being from Florida State, and experiencing the sport in every aspect knows it is corrupt to the core, coaches are at least partially despicable and insufferable human beings, who are encouraged every step of the way to screw their players and current school to get a pay raise, when they are already provided millions up front with no accountability to perform. He knows that the WR who blows by every defender on the field builds culture, the DT who beats two lineman every play builds culture. The Qb who can't be tackled and can throw 60 yards on the run builds culture. Not some average athlete who tries real hard.

Here’s the entire context (for the headline-only readers):

I don’t care about culture,” said Sanders “I don’t even care if they like each other, man. I want to win. I’ve been on some teams where the quarterback doesn’t like the receiver, but they sure made harmony when the ball was snapped. We’re not like that, trust me. These kids are fond of one another.”
He went on to say "I dont think you have to have unity whatsoever". Hes not a leader, hes an influencer. He wont have sustained success in a leadership position.

I was thinking the same thing. For every blot clot there's a risk of tissue dying and 7
I think he could coach from a wheelchair - JoePa was MIA the last 3 years of his career.
Possible but not ideal, and JoePa was just a figurehead his last few years.
Please elaborate.
From June. It's an ongoing problem and I'm sure is only going to get worse since genetic bloodclotting just doesnt go away.

Who was the money chasing woman that he had talk with the last team he has at Jackson St? Tried to take it off as being a warning for players to not be shirt chasing as their are gold diggers out there.

How can you be a leader and not care about culture?

Mark my words, when he is failing miserably he will throw the players under the bus in a heartbeat.

He’ll quit/step down due to “health related issues” about 3-4 games into his second season at CU. I’m guessing they’ll be something like 3-13 when he hangs it up.

Sanders is indeed creating a culture at CU, whether he wants to call it that or not. It's not a culture I want to see at NU.

Imagine going from the fastest most athletic guy on the field to missing a foot.

He might still be able to beat me ina 40 yards dash.
