I'm sorry, that quote from Travis Fisher about what he told his DBs concerning Shenault has to be one of the dumbest comments ever uttered by a college coach.

"know when he is on the field, know when he is off the field [OK?]...…. first name, last name where he went to high school [] ...….what he likes to eat.... [WTF?]"

He obviously didn't mean that literally. I think it's a good thing for the secondary to be locked in on him.

Frost & Co. could take a page out of the Nick Sabin practice book and have a 100 play scrimmage a few times this week, Sabin does that after what he perceives a bad game the weekend before.

I understand that Fisher was trying to get an important message across to his players but the chosen points were just plain …… odd. BTW, my neighbor informs me that Shenault eats nails for breakfast. So I told him that after last year, Nebraska may have him shitting barbed wire before halftime.

Really???

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” Sun Tzu - The Art of War

There is one game changer on CU’s entire roster and Shenalut is that guy. Essentially he’s saying don’t let Shenault be the deciding factor. If CU beats us it’s not because this guy had a career day. It’s going to be because somebody else stepped up or CU put together a more complete game.

Not even going to read their blather this week. Will let their performance Saturday sum up if they had good practices.

How quickly we forget:

“There’s no reasonable reason, considering where the defensive program was at, to believe that they should be able to do everything that needs to be done in the game to win the game, the strain was spectacular right? So we could just go back and look at the game. Do you see the strain? Do you see it? Or no? Is it just something that I’m missing? You can't play a game like that and win, right? So the things happen in the game created an impossible circumstance to win.”

All time nonsense there. I remember when I first watched Bobby say it and I vomitted on the spot. That said so much about the culture... and what Frost inherited.
E Lee was also just quoted throwing a little shade at the Riley culture and referencing having to break bad habits.

When you win 4 of 12 games you suck at more than revenge games. These are press conferences where reporters ask questions. This notion of “stop talking” is really odd to me.

Reread your own post and you will have the answer

Peoplewho haven't won **** look like the biggest dumbasses talking noise.

Their comments arent necessary at all..they better back it up or they will make the entire program look like a joke.

The game is on Fox we aren't winning anyways...lol

I suspect this conversation will take place early in the game.
Dicaprio Bootle: I will smash your face into a car windshield, and then take your mother Dorothy Mantooth out for a nice seafood dinner and never call her again.
Laviska Shenault Jr.: Dorothy Mantooth is a saint. You understand me? Dorothy Mantooth is a saint.
