I wouldn’t be surprised if Grayson cut out the reckless abandon at all cost, style of play. He loses about a year off of his career every time he hits the deck. Duke needs him calm, steady and consistent.

He didn't take any chances Friday night for sure. I think that's partly because he knows we have some big guys that can hit the glass hard so he can just wreak havoc out on the wings. OFC

Okay I know it's a small sample size and all but I've seen Goldwire play twice since he came to Duke and I've been very impressed with that young man. At CDC he did not look like a "practice player." At all. Bagley is ridiculously fast for a big man. And Carter is so solid and poised. Can't wait for the season to start!

Agree 100%. I made the statement the night of CTC that I believe there are a LOT of D1 schools that would love to have Goldwire as a starter. Also impressed with how Bagley can handle the ball for a big.

A whole year against Duval under the tutelage of the GOAT and Jon Scheyer. I'd say we have an asset in the making. He'll play against another Tre next year too. It's an amazing situation for him.

I don't remember specifically who it was, but the mid-major he was a heavy lean to said in no uncertain terms that he was going to be their starter from day one, before Duke swooped in and grabbed him.

I don't know that he will ever start for us, but the kid can flat play. Ask Duvall!!
He is going to at the very least be a GREAT sub to give the starter a rest

I think he was going to Eastern Kentucky University.

Looking at his recruiting profile, it looks like the best team that recruited him was Georgie Tech. I believe somehow this kid flew under the radar and a lot of schools missed the boat on him......as a matter of fact, he may just end up one of the top 50 NBA players of all time!!!

He'll need to transfer to unCHEAT before that happens. OFC
