before CT announced a lot of folks on this board said he wouldn’t leave because his NIL deal was so sweet. What happens to that $? How much was it?
I’ve heard as much as 200k. No idea what it was exactly. He’ll lose whatever it was but no doubt the next school will pony up.

CT participated in a football camp in Papillion on Saturday and shared with KETV.COM that he is leaving the door open to removing his name from the Portal and return to Nebraska, FWIW.

Kong isn't terribly wrong on HH. The problem he overlooks however is that previous staff didn't do him ANY favors. So as far as development goes, he's at least a year if not two behind. Makes it tough for this upcoming season as CT takes his ball to play elsewhere.

HH will, if his development works out over the next year or two without being rushed into service, we'll be decent potential starter material come his senior year. Until then, I hope we get a portal QB who can be second above him so he can develop properly.

I don't overlook that, I'm told it's an excuse when I talk about his timing in the passing game being due to receiving little to no reps from both the drunk and the wife beater (both incapable idiots) during his entire Husker career

those here who are better than Coach Rhule & Coach Satt at evaluating quarterback talent believe he should be a polished, finished product or else he should change positions

I'm glad we finally have a real coaching staff who can recognize potential and lean into it, unlike the haters and losers (of which there are many)

Sure. The teams record this season just might suffer for it (but who knows, maybe Sims doesn't get injured this season?). But that's a part of rebuilding a 4 win team that has packed a good culture for far too long.

HH could certainly be a weapon if used properly. Just like smothers could of been a solid weapon, but you need a coach intelligent enough to cater offense to their abilities.. I think rhule is capable of such feats.

This just makes more room for DR....at least that is how I would mention the room to DR next time I'm checking up on him and his interest in playing QB for Nebraska as a recruiter.
