For some of you that were there was the crowd more UK or UNC? There didn't look like there were 300 OSU or UCLA fans so there had to be a bunch of one of us.

There's been quite a few threads on this, but the crowd was very heavily in favor of UK.

I would say probably 25-1.

The strip made it appear more like 1000-1.

MJ said 60% UK and like 30-35% UNC and the other 5-10% was whatever.

Agree with this. UNC had a good showing, but nothing close to what UK had. UCLA and Ohio state both had very small followings. It's odd b/c I saw nothing but UK fans from Thursday up until game time, but then the UNC people just randomly showed up at the game (didn't see more than 2 UNC fans before arriving at arena). Unbelievable atmosphere. UNC fans were loud, but UK fans were off the charts.

Just watched the video, was surprised to see Fox say that he saw more baby blue than UK blue. Nowhere close.

Fox just tells it like it is, the rest of the comments are from homers

I was there. It wasn't even close. Like I said, UNC had a good following so anyone who said it was 80-90% UK fans is a homer. But UK had a clear majority.

Definitely sounded more pro UK on the TV last night and I had it blasting through our surround system to make it more like I was there.

Shocking that alleged kentucky fans don't know Bill Morgan. I guess you all don't watch games. He sits behind the bench at every home game wearing blue lens glasses. He thinks we wear blue uni's at home and darker blue on the road.

Uh ok. Of all the things to argue about, not sure why you're arguing about the UK fan split with people who were actually there. Matt Jones said 60-65% and the only person who didn't see it that way was Fox. He was playing a helluva game, so not too worried about it. If anything, I hope it gave him a precursor to the filth that will be spewed at him next Wed at YUM.

I've never heard of matt jones, but pop out your blue lenses and you'll see the crowd like Mr. Fox.

For most of the 2nd game it looked empty on TV. The UK/UNC crowd started moving in after halftime

Right after that Fox said that Kentucky never lost the lead in the second half, which was obviously incorrect. He is 18 and has to do public speaking in a large room with reporters recording every word. I don't blame him for making a few misstatements. I'll believe the people that were there who said that Kentucky had the most fans.

Prior to yesterday's game their were numerous UK fans posting from places all over Vegas that UK fans greatly out number UNC fans. However after the game last night, in the press conference Monk and Fox stated it was weird playing in an Arena where the UNC fans out numbered the Kentucky fans.. For anyone that was in attendance did UNC actually have more fans than UK? It looked like and sounded like from watching on TV that UK had more fans at the game.

UK fans out numbered UNC fans about 3-1, maybe 4-1. If I had to estimate, UK brought about 12,000, UNC brought around 4,000, UCLA about 3,000, and Ohio State about 500 max.

Were the Bruin and OSU fans rooting for UNC?

I was at the game. Announced attendance was over 19,000. UK fans were 11-12,000 of that by a conservative estimate. UNC was about 4-5k and UCLA was about 2-3k, although it was tricky tonestimte UCLA because lots of non-Bruins fans were cheering for them to cover their -9 spread. Ohio State had no more than 500. Fox is an amazing basketball player, but he was wrong about attendance.

Talked with my sister who was at the game said it felt like an NCAA Tournament setting. She went along with the 60-30-5-5.But hey if felt like an NCAA Tournament game Tarheel fans aren't used to traveling outside of NC.
So you have to say the Tarheels were well represented.

I was there as well. I'd go with 60% UK, 30% UNC, 7% UCLA, 3% Ohio State. Other schools' fans must not wear gear outside of the arena, because is was all Kentucky Blue on the strip Friday and Saturday.

Despite what one troll says in the other thread UK had somewhere between 60-70% of the crowd. Outstanding turnout. UNC had a very respectable showing, probably 30%. UCLA and OSU had the remaining 5-10%.

Its shameful for so few UCLA fans to have shown up to a gm they could drive to in a few hrs. to watch a Bruin squad that is #2 in America and undefeated.

That program doesn't deserve to be brought back from the ashes.

If they play UK again we will eliminate that Bruin ***.

LOL if you watched and listened to the game with your own eyes and ears, regardless if it was in person or in your living room, you know that UK fans dominated the venue.

Throat poker is one of most longstanding trolls on this board. Been doing it for years.
