Most RUTGERS fans to watch a game live for RU in a long time. Years. With 20,000 capacity I feel like there was around 15,000 and probably 11~ish K RU fans

Just got home our fans were quite boisterous and at times tried to will the team on. Any little play was met with a standing ovation but they were few and far between. Rutgers fans did their job tonight and tried to make it a home court advantage, team just didn't respond.

I thought it was 70/30. Definitely enough Michigan fans to get loud cheers for Michigan but definitely much more support for Rutgers. And this despite the kind of game that would likely have kept the crowd pretty quiet even at the RAC.

I would say 2 to 1, maybe a little more, RU fans. Mich fans were in both yellow and dark blue, and the dark blue is not noticeable. It was a great atmosphere and RU fans were way louder than M. One thing that sucked some life out seemed to be extensive TV timeouts. There were times in the second half were I thought we could have an extended run with momentum but then a TV timeout stopped it. Was funny they should M fans on the big screen there was booing, then RU fans there was cheering.

The vibe was hysterical. Everything was presented as a Michigan home game but every time they showed a fan in Michigan clothes or played a Michigan promo video everyone booed. We were loud and into it....way louder than the UM fans. But alas we lost. It happens.

The jumbotron viewing was great.

The Rutgers fans were incredibly loud. After the game Juwan Howard said this sounds like a Rutgers home game.

Howard also asked about coming to the RAC and he had no idea what the RAC was.

I think it helped us having so many bars in walking distance. I know guys from my group, who normally are not too loud, were screaming lunatics.

I think it was more the crowd noise from Rutgers fans was infectious. Have to give props to the students they showed up last night and led the charge. I even said to my wife, you can't help yourself but to join in on the craziness, when everyone around is jumping up and screaming.

Kids played hard, balls and breaks didn’t fall our way, but we’re in the conversation...

I sat mid court last row, lower level 118. While it looked 60-40 RU to UM, to my right UM fans sounded like 50-50, opposite to my left, and the RU crowd including student section. Sitting amongst some UM fans, alum, etc, they all were fine, no issues. But the one arrogant drunk idiot RU fan yelling 6 minutes into the game at an elderly UM fan (MD who drove from Baltimore, taught at RU for 5 years, lived in Pennington NJ), yelling “you’re gonna lose , come on 50 bucks, your losing,” for what seems like 5 minutes was the only ******* in earshot. Also, the arrogance by RU fans who constantly, on these message boards, criticize other fan bases, when we haven’t done squat, is amazing. UM fans have the right to be arrogant. Get classy Rutgers, stay classy Rutgers...

I just wish we had that one run where our band got to play “the bells” instead of waiting for an advertisement and the Michigan band play, over again. The crowd was ready to erupt and then nothing. Had we taken the lead in the second half it would’ve been game over crowd noise-wise and game-wise I think.
