Maybe I should have said supportive of Frost instead of positive... sorry for the escalated previous post.
We’re good my man! Just all on different levels of frustration.

I don’t think that is his intention, but I can see how it could be interpreted that way. 5 years is a long time, longer than I want to wait, for sure. What I’m saying is that he’s unintentionally saying that Frost doesn’t have what it takes by saying it’s gonna take him 5 years.
Yep, just tiring seeing the board after a loss. Need to probably save myself some heartache and wait 3 days before looking. But this damn board draws me back in every day.Frost has all the support he needs. He just got an extension. He's not going anywhere, so Tommie tweeting negatively or some random SC_'sker on a message board saying he sucks isn't going to change anything.

Obviously, watching another loss. But coming here after a loss compounds it even more.Is it more tiring seeing the board after a loss or watching another loss?
My problem isn't with critiquing specific moves or calls. My problem is just guys making the blanket statement that coach X sucks and will "never" get it done. I appreciate people who can break down plays and sequences and give intelligent reasons for why it didn't work or why they disagree with the game plan. I don't see much if any of that on here.Is it more tiring seeing the board after a loss or watching another loss?
Chinander sucks because he should not have given up 50 some yards in 25 seconds. He should have had the right players with the right call the last series. I disagree with the game plan the last series of letting them kick a field goal.My problem isn't with critiquing specific moves or calls. Quick, go to this site:Yep, just tiring seeing the board after a loss. Need to probably save myself some heartache and wait 3 days before looking. But this damn board draws me back in every day.
Plenty of players worked at WR all year but most didn't play! It's such a frustrating position for us.If WR is/was such a problem (yes it was) why did we not use Luke at WR yesterday? It is my understanding he worked there all week and wanted to play!
That's called the "prevent the win defense."Chinander sucks because he should not have given up 50 some yards in 25 seconds. He should have had the right players with the right call the last series. I disagree with the game plan the last series of letting them kick a field goal.
I know, I’m getting better at it, but still fail at times to wade well.Just ignore the trolls, then. I have no problem with it. There are people that are trolls, people that are just asses, people that pump sunshine into everything, and people that like to call things as they are. I prefer the people who call things as they are. Figure out what you prefer, and wade through the trash.
I couldn't tell from the TV view what we were in but I was SHOUTING at the screen please NO PREVENT ZONE. The long pass completion that was overturned with Domann singled up I think puckered Chinander up. Sigh. It happens every weekend in the NFL too. IF we had gone cover zero and manned up and gotten burned people would have torched Chinander too. That's called the "prevent the win defense."

I get that the fans owe them nothing. But really, what do they owe us? Seriously... I know fans pay money to go to the games, but if you feel this strongly, don’t spend the money. I don’t get the ideology that because you (in general, not specifically you) are a fan you have earned the right to crap all over coaches, players, admin, or whoever is the problem at the moment.Cheatman doesn’t say what will take 5 years. Maybe he’s saying in 5 years Frost will be canned. LOL
But Seriously headcard keep pumping sunshine. Obviously us fans don’t have a reason to feel disappointed in this staff and are too dam dumb to realize the “greatness” that’s being built. Geez man
I just got done watching Kansas State play in front of 100 people against a top 25 school, won the game and are going to a bowl. 3 freaking years in a row and no bowl. This is beyond disappointing. It shouldn’t take that freaking much to get 6 wins. Not in year 2. This staff has to win back the fans. We don’t owe them ****. But let’s keep pumping. I don’t want to be negative and this is the first time in my life I am not optimistic about our team next year. I’m just not a fool
You can feel however the hell you want. Funny that you feel sharing Kenny’s tweet is “pumping sunshine”. I suppose you also feel Tommie’s tweet is “realistic”? And for the record I am not “pumping sunshine”, I have expressed my frustrations and concerns. But the name calling, blind rage, demands to fire everyone are not productive. Frost is here for a while and we need this to work out.Cheatman doesn’t say what will take 5 years. Maybe he’s saying in 5 years Frost will be canned. LOL

My guess is Chinander geared his defense to taking away the sideline routes, knowing that Iowa has zero timeouts left. That left the middle vulnerable. Basically Iowa just out “athleted” us at that point. Their receiver and tight end were just better than our cover guys and we got beat. The sad fact, from our perspective, was that Stanley had not been that accurate most of the game, but suddenly found his range when he had to. That’s called having a QB who performs in the clutch, unlike us. Our QB ran out of bounds like a coward because he didn’t want to get hit OR just had a brain fart. Either way... for all of our mistakes in that game that single, bone-headed decision cost us the game.I couldn't tell from the TV view what we were in but I was SHOUTING at the screen please NO PREVENT ZONE. Better than Frazier responseGlad to hear that. Crouch was one tough animal with amazing acceleration. When he talks NU football I just shut up and listen.

I don't think we were in prevent defense when we should have been. How else do you explain a receiver getting m2m coverage down the sideline with no safety help over the top. We were lucky that play was called an incomplete pass. Then on the next play I'm screaming at the TV because our linebackers are only 5 yards off the ball when they should have been at least 10 yards deep. I think we might have played our regular D when we should have been in prevent. That's called the "prevent the win defense."
Enter Logan Smothers. TM speed and a better arm than Luke. By the way TM was faster than Crouch but not as toughExactly!
Not quite as quick as the insanely fast TMart but still very, VERY fast "and" not scared to run the ball.

U couldn’t leave Luke in there after a game changing effort at that point of the game. That might hurt the future Heisman trophy winning QB’s feelings and Luke is not the chosen one and needs to wait for his time regardless if he is the one QB that changed the tone of the entire game after three quarters. Luke cannot be trusted and all the fans crying for Luuuuuuke don’t understand the plan
Re-read as I said TM wasn't as tough as Crouch. I never said TM wasn't tough, I jut said he wasn't as tough as CrouchWell duh......no sh*t that TM was quicker than Crouch. He's the quickest NU player I've ever seen. But Crouch was still VERY fast indeed. That TMart wasn't tough as nails is just your opinion only.

Luke is a much better leader and will be a better decision maker.

My opinion was well. Crouch had everything that TM didn't. He could cut, juke and be physical when he had. TM could do NONE of those things. He was quick, but only in a straight line. Once opposing D's figured out this one trick pony there was no more magic. TM couldn't lead, couldn't pass (arm punts anyone?) and wilted under pressure. Eric on the other hand may have been the greatest to ever play under center if he had the supporting staff that Frazier had. Not to mention the handicap for having Solich as your coach.
Losing DeOntai hurt us all year. He would have helped our run support IMO.Safety was absolutely awful on that play.

Well, it's tough not to be. Whether it's the throw it up for grabs as you are falling to the turf on a 1st & 10 judgment play that Taylor Martinez was known for or the patented "if I'm not in the game, I'll stand by myself with a hood over my head and not pay much attention to the game" leadership example that he set, it's a very low bar for a McCaffrey to jump over. With the impression that Luke has made on the staff and team, I would say that he's already a better leader. And given his track record of studying film and the playbook, again not a strong point of TM to put it lightly, I would say his decision making will be excellent. How do you know that?
Oh my God.....you can't possibly be serious. Let's look at possibly the two best years for both. 1999 for Crouch & 2012 for TMart.....
1999 Crouch...889 yds running (16 TDs).....1269 yds passing (7 TDs)
2012 TMart....1019 yds running (10 TDs)....2871 yds passing (23 TDs)
I guess you assume Bo was a far, far better coach than Frank? For the other side of the ball, Crouch's 1999 blackshirts were without doubt a way, wayyyyyyy better defense than what we had in 2012. Arguably the same with the OLines.
Anyways, once again, they were both simply terrific.

I sure would the f would take 8/9 wins now boys....he’ll bros and bras I would a bowl appearance at this point. Don’t talk championships yet...baby steps and let’s get to 500% first?! Low bar for now and excellence again down the roadBo was not a better coach than Frank. The goal is conference championships and competing for national championships. We weren't going to either with Bo or Frank. Nine wins only gets you so far in modern football. A whale trophy to be exact.
Sure hope he gets a legit shot at winning the job in the spring. The whole tempo of the offense seems to change with him at QB.Luke is electric running the ball. Not quite Taylor Martinez electric, but I suspect Luke is a better passer and a tougher runner.
He must get his shot this spring.
