Long time no post...I sit next to a gentleman at the Egg Bowl. He and I started discussing the Croom era(I mentioned something comparing Mullen to Croom and that's how this started). He said Croom was a great coach and that he only had one bad season out of 5. I gently corrected him saying he had ONE GOOD season out of 5. He then said check out the stats. I said I witnessed most of the Croom's games in person so I knew what happened. This guy had lived in Oklahoma for the past 10 years and the Egg Bowl was his first game back in State in 10 years. Being as that we were starting to whip Ole Miss at that moment I decided to drop the subject...but I wonder how on earth did he derive those numbers...1 bad year out of 5???? I finished the conversation with I felt Mullen would have a bright future at MSU...this guy said he thought he would...
