With UConn not adding an additional title to get one step closer to Kentucky and Billy Donovan not taking the UNC job, we can all breathe a little bit easier.
Sadly thatās all we have to hold on to at the moment.Schadenfreude
No doubt!Sadly thatās all we have to hold on to at the moment.
Calipari handed them 2. I know one was in the final 4 but Butler had no one down low that could handle T. Jones.Well UCONN was 6 and 0 in championship games, the law of averages says itās time to lose a game. They got extremely lucky to win 6 title games, however it does seem like luck is on their side more often than not.
Repost that to themUCONN fans crashing out on twitter and it makes me feel a little better. Comedy seeing them complain about refs when the shabazz Napier gif is burned in our heads.
It worked out. But it was too damn close.I really think Duke wins the title if Mullins doesnāt hit the miracle shot. Thank goodness!
Remember how close UofL was. Man it would be hell around here right now.I'm also thankful IU was too stupid to hire Dusty May when they had the chance.
Can you imagine them with both Cignetti AND May?![]()
We've been fortunate. North Carolina lost to Kansas a few years ago. UConn lost tonight. Duke has choked with extraordinary talent.
But at some point, Kentucky's got to win some damn basketball games when it matters most. I'm sick of this pathetic holding pattern.
YAWN. Me and millions of fans of every team in every sport everywhere cheer for teams we hate to lose no matter what our record is. It's a big part of enjoying sports "ENTERTAINMENT". The "I'm too cool" act that some of your play is laughable. People laugh at you for taking yourself so seriously about a sport you watch from your couch. LMAO at you.. Good luck rubbing that geeky attiude off on anyone other than a clown. We now just cheer for other teams' losses instead of actually trying to build a team that can win a championship. Still waiting on that

The only team that I have truly hated was Duke with 'K'.
Our history is impressive and I am proud of it but, I am involved in the "now" with UK basketball. I am concerned about our team and its direction. I do not like what I see at the moment.
UConn is extremely well coached and obviously they can evaluate talent. They will be a force again next year due to their coach and their ability to bring in guys that fit their program. I am anxious to see what we will be and the next 10 to 12 days might tell us. The real problem is our coach.
Sorry man, I am more concerned about our team. I don't worry about other teams. Sure, I have teams I like and dislike but not to the level that I start posting about it. I truly appreciate good basketball and, I truly wish we had it at UK. I am afraid it will be a while before we see it again. About the only thing I smoke these days can be found in my smoker grill.Smoking weed this early in the day huh?, UConn has single-handedly cost us at least two national championships may I remind you and one of those came at the hands of Kevin freaking Ollie!
Luckily IUs college basketball department is more inept than ours.I'm also thankful IU was too stupid to hire Dusty May when they had the chance.
