Lmbo, at this point I don't no who's gonna get the job. Around this little community i keep hearing one name!
I don't think it really matters who the new coach is after watching the jv and middle school teams the last couple of years you will need bring in at least a dozen of new outside recruits to be able to complete for any title.

I would think that Crest would want an offensive minded coach. The defense has never been in question, but even in the years where you won your state titles, the offense was by far the weakest link.

We really don't care what you would think. Although you are a weak link expert.
Sounds a bit like Crest will not poll the Bulldogs faithfuls for advice on their coaching selection. Kinda rude when you consider the Chargers recruited the vast majority of their best talent over the past 5 years from Lawndale. That's wanting your cake...and eating it too.

Not sure I agree with that for 1996, 2004 or 2015 teams. Now it is true that 1994, 2003 and 2014 had stout defenses.

it's ok, all the defensive minded coach needs is a very good/experienced OC.

What, you thought we would give you advice?

Crest will hire an excellent coach, no question about it. The way I know this is that a band member's mom who's husband is her first cousin told me her uncle who is also her step brother and ex husband said so!

We need no advice on our selection. Championships at SP came through 3 different head coaches. The next head coach at SP will lead us to another state championship. State championship rings have become the proper dress code in Belmont.

I meant we would not give Crest advice, and I know South Point doesn't need it either.

I think Carroll will be as well. Just wonder how tight his leash will be. Horseshoe forbid he only wins 9 games!

Can you provide some info on Carroll? What's he like? What's his specialty, offense or defense? What kind of offense has his teams typically run?

Bobby's refers to his offense as the "Redbone". Chances are he will change it to the "Yellowbone" if he winds up at Crest.

Mr. Pride you have bumped your head. The ponies have enough talent for years to come.
I have watch the crest middle school and jv teams over the last two years I did not see championship talent there but you never know ,with the right recruits from other teams any thing is possible.

If you only see two games a year how do you justify on the ponies talent. Stay up on the mountain and keep dreaming.

As a fan of Cleveland county high school football I have always been able to say hey Shelby or crest has this kid or that kid coming from the middle school . Ones like Foster or spikes or Ledbetter. But now I cannot name one kid on the middle or JV teams that maybe a well know player or a college recruited player . I have been a part of the youth league s for a long time and the schools that are feeding Crest are just not sending the same caliber players that
you guys are use too. But maybe they will develop into those type players , who knows.

I have been waiting for at least 15 years for Burns to realize that they are the developmental league for Crest. So far, I have been disappointed. You dudes just don't get it!

Come on already! Burns and Shelby are scouring the middle schools and getting a huge advantage during recruiting season.
