SP played a very solid game. Defense is going to be much improved this year and the passing game is going to force teams to play honest. Alexander still learning to play the FB position, but he is a tough and strong kid. Lee ran the offense. He doesn't have the dynamics of Goo, but moves the team down the field.

Shelby is gonna whip the poo poo out of Crest this year. Looks like Souh Point has a good defense. Rain threat kept me away tonight. Sorry I missed you guys this year. I'll attempt to make the Shelby vs SP game.

Congrats to our Raiders! Solid Game throughout. So sweet to see the winning streak snapped in Belmont. Things getting back to normal

Just pitiful. Even the Kirby didn't see a SP game like that until 2003. KM finally breaks the streak this year boys against Crest. Stick a fork in them!

Shout out to SP D. Crest had a total of 145 yds of offense and most of that was through the air. On a second note, I saw where Burns rolled the Carolina Wildcats. They are a SC team created from charter and home schooled kids. Nineteen total players of which 4 are 8th graders. Not sure why anyone would schedule that team.

They have kids in public schools as well who for one reason or another are not eligable to play. They had one kid who could play for anybody ...at least they were better than the q and it was sure better than a bye week.

This thread says Crest @ SP...why are you freaking people talking about The Burned bullfrogs? Crest has been exposed! Kings mountain finally breaks the streak! Ashbrook gets a W next week! And Shelby finally wins a conference championship in this decade! Justice has been served!

It was a rough night last night for the chargers all the way around but maybe they will improve!

Something we will be finding out over the next few weeks..........

Can Clark coach? Any group of men with a brain could have coached that team last year!

Will O-line and the D line get tough and start imposing their will?

Will the QB start either running the ball or getting rid of it quicker?

And last but not least......
Did #25 the RB that they put in the game to start the 2nd half die? What happened to him he came in got 3 touches I'm sure he was our leading rusher he didn't put the ball on the ground like all the others did and then was taken out and NEVER seen the field again?

Maybe someone with a little inside can help with that one!

There should be room for improvement in all three facets. You are correct Clark has some things to prove but he is gong to be held to a very high standard.

As he should be I understand he lost some big time players but there are alot that was back this year. The loss isn't as concerning as the way we lost very unorganized! They called a time out on a big play when SP had the ball on like 3 and 3 or 4 and then had to burn another one before the ball was snapped because they had no clue what they were suppose to be doing!

We will see next week should be a get right game and a win is the cure for things wrong and the guys could use a little confidence builder after last night!

Belmont kids will hit you in the mouth. They remind me of Charlotte Catholic kids. Heart and toughness over the track stars.

When hearing of this score on the Time Warner Cable television station on the remote controlled control panel of the television set, I throwed the pickled egg and sardines sandwich I was eatin' against the mobile home living area wall. Actually, some of the celebrative food particles splattered into the walls of the kitchen because of the velocity that the sandwich was slung slash slang.
P.S. I'd like to give a big hug to Sasha , mainly because of the Raider's victory over the Blind Donkeys, but also subliminally laced overtones slash undertones . I hope you're well, Ma'am.

I agree 100% I just wish we would have put up a little bit of a fight!

I really hope SP was just that good but I don't think so!

My hats off to the SP. coaching staff. They continually do the most with the least. I thought defensively we did a decent job. Considering the situations they were put in. And time spent on the field. Offensively pitiful. The one drive after the break showed what they're capable of. Number 10 is not an inside runner. I think his talent would be better used on outside pitches, screens, swing passes.Who is 25 ? He ran hard on limited touches. Take this L and build on it.

Smartest thing I have heard from a Crest poster in 4 years. I think the whole county is wanting to know the answer to that question. He was handed the keys to the castle last year, but can he build a team up? There is still talented kids over there (that actually belong in their district) so the job isn't a daunting task.

Typical South Point team, not the biggest, fastest, or the most athlectic. They just go out and play hard nose football( Red Raider Football). Crest will be fine. First game of the season and S.P. looked far better prepared than Crest.
