Despite last night's trip to the woodshed, Kings Mountain could still make it to the third round of the 6A playoffs. They'll probably host two-win Ben L. Smith and then travel to TC Roberson. Both look winnable to me if they can recover some fighting spirit.
I hate to say this but I know KM is young. They really are. Last night I didn’t see a young team battling injuries. The body language wasn’t there for a team playing a county rival. I hope they bounce back and make a run in the playoffs.
70 has to be the county record for points in a game.
I don’t remember one this bad in my lifetime. We took a big loss to Crest one year but we at least put up 7-14 in that. 70-0 has to be the record.
