Man that’s the truth too. The Crest team in the first quarter last week showed up even more tonight. Between Crest playing like they can and KM looking at Basketball season it’s a slaughter.

When a team gets worse as the season goes on there are usually big problems..
KM players got down 7-0 and just quit.....i have not seen anything like this in a while. A loss of this magnitude will have the coach packing...imo
In 2003, Asheville high was ranked number 1 in the state at 13-0. South point was ranked number 2 in the state at 13-1. Played in the famous snow bowl for a spot in the state championship. We got down 23-3 at halftime and then quickly 30-3 in the early stages of the third quarter. From that point on, I have never seen a team quit like we did. And that sounds like what happened to kings mountain. Once you get down big in a game that is supposed to be competitive, players just start doing their own thing. It rarely rarely happens with proud teams, but when it does… it’s crazy to see. South point beat Us 57-10 that night and the effort we put forth in that second half, South point was being kind.
This game was never supposed to be competitive…. What happened is what was supposed to happen… Crest was bigger faster and stronger… nothing KM could do about it.
Crest is without a doubt the better team and I thought last week they were too but KM didn’t even want to be out there. Zero fire at all. 70-0 against Crest, Shutout by SP, Huss gave them a run, Burns damn near beat them. Something in KM isn’t right.
