I will SAY this is the BEST ASHBROOK Team I have seen in YEARS. BUT I am taking the CLEVELAND COUNTY CREST ALLSTARS in a mild UPSET.
There might be more convicted felon fans in attendance than HS diploma holders at this game tonight. Hope the crowd and staffs keep it together. Is the ref dress area still right beside Ashbrook's locker room?

The only concern I have in this game is the refs. Any other year it would an excuse but this year playing in Gaston county has been interesting to say the least. I still say Crest by 14.

Crest can’t get out of its on way. Period. Ashbrooks QB might not be going to Virginia but he’s been the best QB on the field tonight.

Wondering this week what the Over/Under was on this game. Now I know....Crest overrated and Ashbrook underrated.
As I said this would be a great game!

Our DB’s handled all that speed pretty well… no real explosives through the air.

Expect both teams to make noise in the playoffs. Ashbrook D is for real and O just needs a few scores for them to be in any game. Crest is still hands down favorite to win 5A.
Ashbrook is good. Crest is good. If they played again several times I suspect the win loss total would be even. I also think this loss will help Crest win the State. Reality is the best teacher. Knowing you are not unbeatable is the best motivation.
