Actually that's a good question, jmo it's it hard for NU fans to accept a smaller school can be more successful than the big dog. Look at it this way, if creighton doesn't make to cws before Nebraska does, we probably never see Dave VanHorne. Look at the basketball team the little guy like creighton has owned NU for a number of year. Competition is good. I don't think coach cook is going to take creighton volleyball for granted. And a lot of it has to do with cross over fans. NU football creighton basketball. I live in southern Nebraska, I'm more of a Jayhawk basketball fan than NU. Simple because Nebraska has not accomplished much. And I'd be willing to say there are KU basketball fans that are NU football fans especially in northern Kansas

I root for all Nebraska teams in all sports, but UNL is #1 in all of them for me. In MBB I also root for Duke but I'd root for the Huskers if they ever met head to head.

A lot of that, for me, comes from the Creighton fans themselves. They are always hating and always disrespectful of the Huskers. I have never heard one decent thing come from there fans. I haven’t met one TRUE Bluejay fan that respected the Huskers and they are usually very verbal with letting us Husker fans know it.
Yes they do. I’ll give you credit and say maybe you don’t. But anyone claiming the fans don’t bash or hate on each other is in denial.
