Football Creighton vs East Butler

East Butler got lost in the the talk after losing to Palmer in a terrential down pour in what was basically the fluke of the year in class d1. Otherwise this wouldn't be as much of a surprise.
This is a really really good team thats only loss was 26-20 to Howells Dodge week one.
In that game EB was on the verge of beating HD but got a TD called back with 30 secs to go due to a penalty. They have a loaded senior class and were preseason number 1 in the Omaha for a reason. With that said, even I am a little surprised with the result tonight and the way they completely bottled up Creighton's run game.
If Howells Dodge holds on against JB it will be a great rematch Monday in Dwight.

No denying that, things could have and probably would have been different had Creighton been healthy.
FWIW, East Butler starting running back and one starting lineman are out for the year as well, but neither was near the loss of Zimmerer and Creighton's lineman.
