Those of you from the Watergate era might remember what the acronym in the title of this post meant. It was the committee to reelect the president. Nixon's operation setup to assure his Landslide victory in 72.

Trump should set up his own creep after this week. He has presided over some significant wins that will pretty much guarantee his reelection in '20.

Supreme Court rulings on protecting the country from terrorists, pro-life rulings, Democrat Government pro-union activities which will essentially de-fund their tax subsidized Union building operations. Significant primary victories of Trump backed candidates, another chance to nominate a Constitutional Supreme Court nominee and Socialists winning Democrat primaries assuring their run to the hard Left as a stark choice for Americans to the Trump boom in the midterms.

And speaking of boom, the Atlanta Fed is now predicting likely GDP at or approaching 4.5% for the 2nd qtr, something Trump detractors insisted was not possible.

I have posted on this forum before that Trump gets re-elected if two things and only two things allow Americans to answer an affirmative "YES".

Do Americans feel secure and protected from both foreign or domestic enemies who are trying to attack & kill us? And do Americans have the types of jobs in the quantities they either need or desire paying them the salaries they either want or require?

An affirmative "yes" to each of those questions and Trump can guarantee himself a second term. He is well on his way too unless the Left forces a civil war where they try to overthrow him.

Again you lie. It is becoming a regular thing for you. People said sustained GDP growth of 4% was not realistic over time as he said it was during his campaign. NOBODY that ever took Econ 101 said 4.5% wasn't achievable in a particular quarter.

Obama I believe (didn't fact check) had multiple quarter of GDP growth over 4% and even was topped 5% once on a quarterly basis.

Do some research and post those numbers. I know you won't but I'm tired of talkin economics with you anyway because you never answer any questions go away.

They had predicted 5+% for the first quarter. They are notoriously high. That said, no one has said it was impossible for a quarter growth that high. Hell Obama had a quarter or 2 that was over 5%. People objected to the 4% (now 3%) Annual GDP.

You're tired of talking economics with people because you look foolish and change the arguments:

https://www.statista.com/statistics...-from-preceding-period-in-real-gdp-in-the-us/

How many on the Left predicted Trump would even top 3% Milton Friedman?

You are another amazingly annoying poster who claims to be all about fiscal discipline but you disappear when the discussions get down to actually cutting wasteful Governent.

I didn't see one post from you in support of that Trump re organization plan @WVU82 posted the other day, filled with cost savings and elimination of billions in wasteful spending.

Where was deficit hawk wvucooper offering his enthusiastic support for a solid plan to both reduce the size of Government as well as cut bloated, inefficient, wasteful programs?

Scratching your Leftist itch for even more spending.

I’ve had the KGB82 bot on ignore for over a year. Changing subjects to spending after being proven wrong again. Never change.

I offered up my thoughts to THE on Trump’s magical spending “reduction”. Good luck on your next goal post move!!

My eyes usually glaze over on economics talk for the most part. I just want the trillions number to start heading in the right direction.

I told you I wasn't going to discuss budgets or deficits with you again after your last disappearing act and I'm not going to start. Carry on.

Disappearing act? lol. Are you or have you been institutionalized? Just because someone does stay up on a message board until the wee hours of the night, does not mean they disappear.

It's really simple....massively growing gov't spending and then reducing a little for political points is still massively growing the gov't. If a wife spends $300 a week on groceries and then all of a sudden starts spending $2,000 a week on groceries. That is a massive spending increase. If the next week she lowers it to $1,800 on groceries, calling that a reduction is a fraud.

What if her sugar daddy all of a sudden starts making $4,000 a week? Wouldn't that 1800.00 a week grocery budget that you quoted be affordable?

We shouldn't be spending any more than we take in but of course none of you Leftists were all that concerned about it when you were spending more than what we took in were ya?

If? Sure. That's not the case. Hence the deficit is widening and the budget is exploding. This is like 2nd day Econ 101.

I'm not on my computer and I hate linking on this freaking phone but when I get home I'll post all the comments from all the Democrats who voted against that tax cut and predicted the economy would tank before they did it. I would say virtually 100% of them also said that Trump would never even see 3% GDP!

So just to be sure the argument was with his tax cuts Trump would explode the deficit and tank the economy. It's been the exact opposite.
