Supposedly Cal is furious at a former assistant.Some are saying it's Justus and Hickman will end up at Arizona State.I have no clue if it's true but it made me laugh.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Justus said “I’ll go into your city and take your players”
I mean...you hire assistants primarily to build relationships and bring guys in. Don’t be surprised if the players leave when you fire the assistants that recruited them.

I’m fine with trading Hickman for Barbee and Justus being gone.
I may be alone here, but id like to see Justus steal Skyy also...I just think he's very overrated. Cal was really slow to offer..Justus had Skyy ready to commit, but Cal wasn't sure and took his time to give him an offer
KEYONTE GEORGE is the PG I want then add Sharpe as his mate..both 6'4- 6'5 and play above the rim. (Skyy not so much).....both big and athletic enough to run 3 guards and both can shoot it..

This offseason has been a big clusterfuck mess.Cal now needs several guards but we can't even get one and now lose another.It's not looking good for Miller or Washington,chances are good Carr stays in the draft.The only positive is Frederick seems a good bet to UK.I don't have anything positve to say about Wheeler.

I’m sure Justus will go negative on UK every chance he gets. If he’s poaching guys who have signed LoIs well that some next level ******* behavior. That’s why if he ends up at az st there will be a serious complaint of tampering. Guy we are recruiting is one thing taking guys who signed loi is another. If the rumor is true Justus is everything some of us thought of him.
Why didn't we go after the coastal Carolina guy,the dayton kid or Justin Powell?Was Cal that out of touch with his recruit that it came as a surprise?Now we are stuck looking at a guy like Wheeler.

I don't know where he is going. What I said is that I have been hearing rumblings, and none of them include Kentucky.
The funny thing is that when Wheeler ends up our starting point guard some will spin it like that was Cal's big plan all along.

I think it’s nonsense and nothing more. I also believe Hickman probably wasn’t feeling the love anymore from Cal, since he’s been reaching out to other guards and wasn’t in contact as much with Hickman.
Plus reading interviews that Hickman has given recently, he came off as someone who thought he was going to start at point guard and we know that’s not happening now.

You will find out soon enough. Like I said, I don't know for sure, but it is in the works, but nothing is sure when it comes to recruiting a high school kid. After all the Cats thought they had him, and you see how that worked out, or didn't. When he signs with this school, it won't really mean anything until they get him in school and on the court. Who knows he may even change his mind again before school even starts again.

What Hickman said a few months back, “I’m not worried about playing at all,” Hickman said in an interview with Sports Illustrated back in January. “What I’ll bring is my ability to facilitate, competitiveness and ability to win games. My goal is to definitely be the starting point guard next season.”
What a joke. You can't trust a dam word any of these kids say these days. I mean you don't leave a program like UK because of an assistant. Who knew losing 2 turds like Barbee and Justus would cause such headaches. As long as we get the right guys, not Wheeler unless he is the backup then I'm good with it. We don't want any phonies here. Just kids that want to be here. I really wish Askew would have stuck it out. We still would have needed another top PG. To hell with West coast kids. They seem soft and flaky as Walton.
