Cramer at Crest, Round 1

This game has the makings of a good game. Last time these two met Cramer was moving the ball with ease on the Crest defense until they lost their QB on a goal line play. Game ended 27-7 Crest but could have just as easily been 27-28.
Heard a lot of talk this week about how vanilla the Crest offense is. I have to agree. Coach Eddins has to diversify the offense more if we are to have a chance to advance in the playoffs. The question is, "Are you trying to win the game" or "Are you trying not to lose". Big difference.

Last I heard, there were 3 starters, all big contributors that were hurt against KM. Hope to get 1-2 of them back for Cramer game. Next man up

Will Jalin Graham be back and if so Raekwon Turner can help that banged up defense. Crest starting OLB #1 from last season might be able to help out on defense ...4.5 speed coming off the edge

BTW - Eddins calls the plays and I'm sure he'd be the first one to tell you he has to change it up and was disappointed against KM. He'll get it right. I hate we're going to be missing a couple of starters. This could be a barn burner.

Thanks for cleaning that up for me. I didn’t think that rumor sounded right. They take a lot from eg and some from sp. But dont let that fool you eg has some talent and some good size kids over there on both jv and varsity. Should be winning something over there

I think it would be hard to change your offensive from running to passing in just two weeks. KM start the season wanting to run the ball more, but with MACK getting hurt in the very first game KM became more of a passing team it was not until MACK got healthy that our offensive became more balance and more effective.

We just can’t be predictable and wait until 3rd and long to pass because usually we get blitzed and end up taking a sack on almost every 3rd and long

Hitman still can’t get over the Burns Bulldogs shocking his Lions. He was lobbying for the Wing T and Chris Norman after Crest dominated Shelby, the same way he did when Lance took over as HC right before winning multiple championships. I thought he had retired as a long time Shelby fan threatening to never go to another game during Lance’s first couple yrs. Surely Hitman wouldn’t be a front running bandwagon fan and bail out during the bad times.

BTW - SC beating Crest would be a mild upset but it could happen....not a shocker
