Yes. By coincidence, I wound up chatting with Carter, Tobias Harris and Tobias Harris‘s father in the parking lot of the football stadium when he was there for a visit. The father loved hearing stories of Carter’s teams and RU generally. Young Harris just seemed like he did not want to engage with Carter. He seemed completely uninterested. I did not think it was appropriate to discuss at the time, but I was pretty sure then that there was no chance Harris would come here. Since Carter was one of my all-time favorite players and personalities at RU, I felt really bad that he could not reel in the big recruit; mostly because it would’ve been a real feather in his cap.
I was watching RU play Seton Hall. Craig Carter at the time had some big hair. The announcers kept yelling Da-Hair, Da-Hair. It was making me furious as I thought the announcers were mocking Craig. It turns out they were saying "Dehere" for Terry Dehere on Seton Hall. I am not a smart man.
