Traveling to CR for a family wedding this upcoming Friday. Looking for activities for Saturday. Have a brunch Saturday am but that’s it. No pic wife and 3 kids in their 20’s who grew up watching Hawkeye football with me but have never been to IC. We will be with other cousins of my kids in their 20’s but also 2 kids 11 and 9. My nephew mentioned a place in CR that has bowling and an arcade. I kind of want my kids to see IC. There is an Art festival in IC called Rhythms on Riverfront that night. Anyone ever go to that? Is it worth it? Any other recommendations? Thanks.

Field Day in North Liberty has duck bowling for kids while you can enjoy the patio. Big Grove IC is always a hit for kids as they can run around outside. I haven't checked out CR Big Grove yet. It's been on my to do list and we don't make it to CR all that much.
Not sure if i would want to hit up downtown IC and the ped mall since it is graduation weekend. It will probably be insanely busy. Otherwise I would def suggest walking around the ped mall. Maybe going to the Joes Place rooftop if you do make it down to that area.
The aforementioned Rhythms on Riverfront (which I had never heard of) appears to be next weekend? Below is the link I came across.

North Liberty has Bowl Dawgs for kids. 30 Hop in Coralville for rooftop bar food. Longhorn Steakhouse has the best food for the buck IMO. Reunion in Coralville for brew pub or Big Grove in IC or Solon. The hotel south of Kinnick has rooftop dining and the Hilton in downtown IC too. I don’t go downtown much at all.
