Shoot, with the best bathrooms in all of the CPL at Rockne, I might go ahead and get the chili on the hashbrowns as well!! Shoot, I'm so stoked, I might just order some of that delicious coconut cream pie to go and eat it in the stands!

Each of these teams has struggled to keep player numbers up the past few years. So, logic says... Hold on.. For all of you new people on the new platform....This is the CPL BABY! None of that matters! Forfeit one week, dominate a 7-0 team by 30 the next! That is CPL football, and when the sun is high over the sacred grounds of Eckersall stadium this Thursday, you know the football gods will be smiling as these two duke it out for week one supremacy on the south side!

This game is scheduled at Hansen Stadium. The newly remodeled Hansen Stadium. Look, I'm all about improving crappy facilities, but there was a certain charm to playing on that old Soldier Field turf. Sure it was hard. Sure it was coming apart. Sure it was miserable, but it was unique. Same goes for the stadium. Sure it was falling apart. Sure the locker rooms were flooded, but there was a certain charm to it all. I'm thinking of boycotting the renovated Hansen. Yet, I do love the Pioneer Lounge across the street. I'm also a little nostalgic for the Steinmetz players in full uniform waiting for the 77 bus at Central and Belmont headed to a 4:15 Thursday start at Hansen. Decisions...Decisions...
