Cowboys are looking pretty good but the Saints showed that they are still going to compete without Brees. Who do y'all like?

I'm a Saints fan. I hope we beat Dak. Downvote away***

ETA: Clicking against NYG, Washington and Miami huh? Possibly the 3 worst teams in the league? NYG may be better now with Jones though.

Dallas is good though. I don't doubt that. Saints winning at Seattle and beating Houston is much more impressive though.

Saints have played Houston, @ LA Rams and @ Seattle. Probably toughest schedule thus far and we're 2-1!

Geeze you're terrible. Am I not allowed to say "us/we" when referring to MSU? You're such a douche. I think you try to be though and I think you enjoy it. Congrats if that's what makes your life fulfilling unless your a fake *** on a message board and complete puss in real life. You could be that too.

The Saints give up more opposing QB fantasy points than any other team in the NFL @ 30.7. The only other teams over 25 are Miami, AZ, and the Giants. Dak should have a good day.

Is Russell Wilson distorting that though? He had 50 in my league last week including a TD as time expired to make the game appear closer. Saints were up 20-7 late in 4Q if I remember correctly.

ETA: And again, the Saints have played a great schedule including on the road vs the Super Bowl runner ups and @ Seattle which is arguably the toughest place to play in the NFL.

Dak is a top 10 QB...I'd rate him #6 right now.

1. Mahomes
2. Brady
3. Wilson
4. Rogers
5. Brees
6. Dak
7. Watson
8. Wentz
9. Rivers
10. Goff

If you look at the fantasy points allowed. The Saints are one of the best defenses against the run and one of the worst against the pass.

I thought before this past Sunday that Dallas would win by 10 or more, but the Saints were impressed me at Seattle without Brees. I now think this game is a coin-flip.

Saints in a close one, 27-24. New Orleans might have the best offensive line in the league, and have enough playmakers on offense (Kamara, Thomas, Cook) to help Teddy in the short to intermediate passing game. Run defense is stout. Dak will play well, but the Dome will be the difference maker. If the game was in Arlington, I’d pick the Cowboys.

Good list. I’d probably swap Dak and Watson (splitting hairs- I think you could make an argument for any order of 5-8 and include Matt Ryan at 10 instead of Goff who I think is a big beneficiary of system and surrounding talent. Otherwise, I think it’s spot on.

Yeah I thought about Ryan over Goff but his TD and Int numbers aren't very good this year. I'd probably go Watson over Dak strictly as a passer, but it is splitting hairs and I'm a Dak and MSU fan, so I'm going with a DAWG!

Dak doesn't seem injury prone either. Both are great leaders and going to win a lot of games in the NFL I think.

You mean kinda like you trying to be all "17 dak, there's 16 QBs better, I'm message board superpimp".

When we look for douche, it's the guy bending over backwards to bash QBs from his supposed alma mater.

Saints fan for almost 50 years, but there's no way Dallas doesn't throw all over this defense. Whenever a big play is needed, teams have been throwing it at Lattimore. He can't seem to cover anyone when it matters. Without turnovers, Saints won't make it close.

Dak is the real thing and he's got receivers that can catch now. Saints offense without Brees can't play from behind. Dallas 38 - 14.

Did you watch the game? The Saints offense was pathetic against the Seahawks and the Rams... A punt return and scoop and score are the reasons New Orleans won... Not something that I would hang my hat on carrying over week to week.

Seattle had 26 1st downs, 514 yards of offense, and 7 drives of 30+ yards...
New Orleans had 15 1st downs, 265 yards of offense, and 2 drives of 30+ yards... If they play like that against the Cowboys, Dak will be eating the 17ing Spicy Nuggets in the huddle by the end of the game.

Oh by the way, the Saints had 244 yards of total offense against the Rams. I don't know how much the Saints improved over last season, but the Cowboys are much better. Subtract Brees from the fold and there is going to be a big time drop-off... So yes the Saints have played a tougher schedule, but the Cowboys have dominated.

The Rams have struggled their way to 3-0 so far. The offense has only put up 350+ yards once... against the Saints. The Rams looked bad against the 1-2 Browns and the 1-2 Panthers. The best game the Saints have played was against the Texans with Brees at the helm. The Seattle game had a lot to do with the football gods... Seattle must have pissed off them dead injuns.

Cowboys win by 7+.

I watched the game against Seattle. There are lies, damn lies, and sports stats. The game in Seattle wasn’t close. New Orleans dominated, and was up 27-7 late in the game. Seattle picked up huge yards against a prevent defense in garbage time. This weekend will tell us a lot about both teams.

I didn't know it was that much of an offensive struggle and I wasn't able to see much of the game. I saw a lot of the 4Q when Seattle made their run and padded the stats. I saw the punt return too but I missed the majority of the game. Thanks for filling me in.

I hope the Saints win, but I'm not expecting it without Brees.

Fair point on the Seahawks yardage, I guess a chunk came at the end of the first half too. Maybe it was the rain, but the Saints offense was even more anemic. Kamara was 60% of it.. 26 of the points scored by the Saints were just silly. A shanked punt returned for a TD. A fumble return for a TD. A turnover on downs giving the Saints the ball at the 28 of Seattle in the 4th. And a missed field goal turned into a TD after a DT lined up too close to the long snapper and the 5 yard penalty gave the Saints a first down on 4th and 4.

Hell, the most legit drive of the game was due to Pete going for it on 4th down at mid field and Kamara taking a screen 29 yards. He is awesome, I will admit. Brees is worth 2 TD's over Bridgewater though.

I will agree that the Seattle offensive stats are misleading, if you will agree that that is the most ridiculous 33 points ever scored in an NFL game. They were up 20-7 at halftime with 90 yards of offense. That will not happen again for a long time.

Dallas defense must play to their full potential and I'm not sure they have done so yet. If they do, the game is theirs. I like their chances better than the Saints at the moment.

The dome is overrated. The Saints win a lot of games at home because Drew Brees is one of the best QB's in history and they win a lot of games everywhere. The fact is they are the 4th worst ATS home team in the NFL since 2014.

Dak has beaten Rodgers at Lambeau, Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh, and Wentz in Philadelphia, .... I think he can handle Teddy Bridgewater in the Superdome that he's been dreaming of playing in for his whole life. I seem to remember him playing 1 other night game in an impossible environment in Louisiana...

I think he goes ape **** again on Sunday night.

I’ll take 24pts and The Saints.... all.day.long.

SP showed what he could do with one week planning with Teddy as the QB. It won’t get worse.
Dallas is good, I wouldn’t bet straight up. But give me 24 pts and I’d actually probably put real money down on a football game and I haven’t bet in 20 years.

in any case Geaux Saints...
love Prescott, very proud of him, hope he gets rich,etc... but never pulling for Dallas vs NO.

Yea if there is one thing I’m not going to buy it is Dak not playing well in front of a hostile Louisiana crowd. I hope the Saints win but I hope Dak plays well.

I have been a Saints Fan for 52 years. I was a Cowboys fan before that and since they are not a Saints division foe, I don’t have a problem pulling for them as long as DAK is their QB.

My primary allegiance in Sports will always be the Mississippi State, but I will cheer for only one State alum against the Saints. Dak for the win!
