They are in serious trouble over the next few years. OL is getting washed, Zeke showing all the early signs of a typical 5-year workhorse RB starting to break down (the Demarco Murray syndrome, if you will), and very few pieces to build around on defense. Every position on the field except QB, WR, and kicker are all massive question marks going forward.

Hopefully Dak will ask for nothing less than $73 million per year so he can spend the prime of his career somewhere else.

The inmates starting running that asylum when Jerruh caved and stupidly paid a RB hanging out in Mexico 2 years early while his franchise QB was out there working his *** off playing for pennies on the dollar. That contract is an anvil around the neck of that team even with a healthy Dak. I didn’t grow up a Cowboys fan but I know Dak did so I love watching him live his childhood dream but with contracts like that with a shrinking cap in the future I don’t know how successful he can be there.
