I am having difficulty getting thru to talk to someone about rescheduling my second dose vaccination appt. Cancelled the one I had for tomorrow in Leflore County, due to travel conditions. The stupid website does not allow you to reschedule appointments, only to cancel and start over. And if you do that and try to schedule a second dose, it tells you that you must schedule your first dose appt. first, even though you have already had your first dose.

When I try to call the hotline number (877-978-6453), I get a busy signal. Any suggestions?

I will drive up to Greenwood early next week and tell them to give me my damn second dose even without an appt. if I have to. I have the card to prove that I got my first dose on January 18.

How long would you have to wait to schedule a 1st dose? I'd just do that and show up with my card.

i tried to be sneaky and just schedule a first dose appt. on the website, but the earliest I could get would be March 9, which would be past the 4 to 6 week time frame for second dose. I'll just keep trying the hotline number, but if that doesn't work, I'll execute plan B and just drive up there early next week and tell them I'm not leaving until they put my second dose in my arm.

Eventually, you’ll be able to walk in somewhere and get the 17n thing within a few minutes. Probably sometime this summer/fall. Until then, it will be a typical government run 17up for the most part with here and there examples of common sense sprinkled around.

Has anyone heard anything about what a person who is unable to get their second dose within the prescribed time frame (4-6 weeks for Moderna, which I had), should do? I mean, do you then need to start the whole process over again with two doses? I don't want to have to find out, that's why I'm saying I'll just show up and tell them to give me my second dose. My clock runs out at the end of this month.

I was supposed to get the 2nd shot in Tupelo on Monday. On Sunday I got 2 voice mails, 1 email, and 2 texts telling me my Monday appointment was cancelled and had been rescheduled for Sat at the same time. My Sat appt will probably be cancelled also.

I've found that there's no set method for handling vaccinations of people who recently had Covid. Some are letting people get it anyway. Some are requiring a negative test. Some are delaying an additional 2 weeks.
Had to reschedule my 2nd shot because I had Covid. Wife had it same days as me but fewer symptoms, and they gave her hers (different location). Lots of disorganization.

If I had known then what I know now, I would have waited for them to reschedule mine. I did finally get to talk to someone on the hotline. He re-activated the appt. I had for tomorrow, and said that if they are shut down up there tomorrow, which is likely, they will contact me with my rescheduled appt. info. What a cluster 17 this has all been. Just my luck that this **** weather all occurs right at the time I am supposed to get my second dose.

Eta- They rescheduled me for 3 pm Saturday. Will drive up to Greenwood slowly that afternoon.

Good luck if you catch Covid after the 1st vaccine. They canceled my 2nd and will not reschedule. Told me to find somewhere else. 17ers!
Called MDH about getting another location. They said where I got my vaccine wasnt one of their sites so they can't help. One big cluster 17!
