Working from home right now. That's the biggest change. Aside from no tourney.
Bought extra ammo.
Getting caught up on everything on Netflix.
Staying home and getting paid to do so. I’m one of the lucky ones.
Every now and then I will venture out to the grocery store, but I don’t wear gloves or mask.

Wife and son have some health issues so barred the rest of family from coming around which sucks because we miss our girls and the grandkids. We normally see them everyday so it’s been tough

I’ve lost my income completely, my retirement plan is in the *******, my kids are driving me crazy, my wife is losing her mind. Overall pretty ******.
Trying to keep my elderly parents from contracting this stuff. My dad is 87 and has COPD, so it’s a very real concern for me. Been doing their grocery shopping and pretty much forcing them to stay at home. Other than that my life is about the same. Hope everyone stays safe out there.
I was just going to like your post, Jace2012 - but then it didn't seem appropriate to "like" an unpleasant situation for you and your family. I know it could be a lot worse, but I'm sorry nonetheless. I bet not seeing those grandkids is very sad for you and your wife, as well as the grandkids.

Was going to retire next year not looking good now, have quite a few health issues but with my job I have to work around a lot of people and frankly worried about catching this crap but I guess it could be worse.

Hey, there’s a lot of folks out there in worse situations than my family like the ones that are quarantined alone and scare in a hospital with no way to be with their loved ones. It’s a life style change that everyone just has to get use to so we can get through this mess.

Time to refocus on what life and family are all about. I’m a believer that this thing will be over and a memory sooner than some people think. Just my prediction. In the meantime, clean out a closet or something.
The wife is currently unemployed because Denistry isn’t considered essential, so we’ve lost her income, but...home cooking. 13 year old daughter hasn’t been in school for going on 3 weeks now, but she has her iPhone, so I’ve heard her breathing and seen her a couple of times. Me and my 18 year old son are both still working at UPS...apparently we are essential, because now people can order their toilet paper online!! The boy turns 19 next week, so his birthday’s gonna suck, and he’s worried how his semester grades are gonna pan out at UL. I happen to be on vacation this week because it was supposed to be Spring Break...I’m almost out of Bourbon!!!
Stuck at home with a wife, 3 teenage boys and 2 pets so about how you’d expect.. could be worse though and count my blessings everyday.
On a side note, one of my biggest questions is and I don’t see it being asked out there when reading articles, but how was China supposedly able to get a hold of this virus where they’ve been in the range of only 81k cases total for the last week with minimal new cases daily when they have like 1.6 billion people in their country with a health system that is no where near what we have?
Whereas we are coming close to 200k total cases in less than 2 months and climbing fast.
Something doesn’t seem right, either China is fudging their numbers completely or what do they know that we don’t to beat this thing?

Both of us stay at home, go for daily walks, have a designated reading time, text with friends and family, doing all sorts of house projects and go to the market only when necessary. Trying to stay away from others much as we can.

We have one pistol despite the fact that I've never been worried much about home defense. When this all started breaking bad, I went to the big box to order a shotgun. It arrived in a week or so, but for some reason my application/background check is on hold. I don't have anything on my record, so not sure what gives.....patiently waiting.

China has cancelled 21 million cell phone plans in the last three months. Crematoriums have been going 24/7 . Reporters kicked out. Where there is smoke there is fire. Sounds like an inferno .
I’m still working cause I work for one of the essential jobs! And since I’m around the public I can’t go around my elderly aunts! Don’t want to take the risk if I should be caring the virus and not know it!

He’ll still be working and I’ll be back next week too, and we are both on 3rd shift, so about the only thing he’s gonna miss out on is going to dinner...I think Mama has got that covered!! He’s a Percussion Music Education major, and he’s missing his Piano Class, and the boy has sausage fingers like his daddy, so I bought him an Electric Keyboard from Guitar Center online...he’s at least got that to practice on now, so he’s happier.
