Couple thoughts on the win

1. Remember when we could not win on the road?
2. Props to Geo. Played many important minutes smartly with three fouls.
3. I love Jacob. Yeah I get he can get out of control but man his energy is fantastic and the team feeds off of it.
4. Paul M hitting those two important 3’s was a thing of beauty. Those assists were just sick
5. Myles and Ron with huge double doubles.
6. Pike has gotten killed by some with his substitutions but I thought it was huge that he sat Myles when Archie sat their big man.
7. Now I can relax and root against PSU

First, great post, agree 100%

Pike was being victim of his own success here. Not only did he raise the bar(from the basement) he has essentially gotten RU into tournament 2 years in a row.

Who wouldn't have signed up for ANY coach that would have guaranteed that????

Really good post Bird. I think Pike's substitution patterns have gone much better in recent games where he's not taking out everyone but blending it better so that we have shooters still on the floor. As for Paul, I love it! I've been saying all season he needs to shoot more instead of always looking to pass. We need him now that we're going dancing. Those two threes were huge at the time.
