Couple of thoughts after LSU

I noticed LSU got away with a lot of holding during the game on passing plays. One particular play their LT had our DE by the arm right in front of the QB and no penalty.

On the flip side, Lashley has been flagged all season for holding in each game. It is interesting that he played at Alabama. He probably got away with it at Alabama but here you must play by the rules!

How many flags were thrown the first half?

Maybe my imagination but their DE was offsides half the time.

Only remember it being called once.

Think it’s pretty safe to say “they let both sides play.”

I’ve been critical of 78 all year but Saturday I don’t recall one penalty against him. He pass blocked better but, we gave him help with a TE or RB and at times both.
And- I would guess 80% of our running plays went away from the right side of the O Line.
And I don’t think he played very much at all at Bama.
