Nah, it just pissed me off, it was a positive thread welcoming a new player and someone had to clarify. He is a Cat, that is all that matters, there was no need for him to try and come in a thread and me Mr. Knowitall. I like this signing IF the kid stays around another year. The problem we've been having is that these kids aren't good enough to get us where we want to be, but they sure do get noticed by the NBA. If this is truly the route that Calipari is going (he doesn't have a choice, if we're being honest), then he HAS to get these kids to stay another year. Otherwise he's just worried about draft night all over again, with lesser players.

If football yes, but basketball, very seldom does a player commit and go thru financial entry and then change their mind. Ware knows he is a multi year player and he knows who is the best at getting guys in his range drafted. So there really is not a difference in signed / committed.

It doesn’t happen often but we literally just had a guy do it this year in DJ Jeffries.

Yes, but there was special circumstances around it. IF Penny does not get the Memphis job (i mean the guy played for him and in his home town. Also, I am not so sure if was all DJ doing the de-committing. I think Cal kind of put the writing on the wall he might get recruited over. No way Jeffries would get any clock this year, I think he started to see it, Cal kind of let it be known, then Penny gets hired, and it was the perfect recipe for him to change and everyone wins in the end.
