It was pretty bad here last year after the KSU loss, but I agree, it would have been infinitely bad given the circumstances your listed.

The greatest meltdown since the Wisconsin loss.

Worse I think. Despite the missed shot clock violation in the Whisky game, we still should have won. It was a choke of epic proportions, pure and simple.

I’m still heartbroken and bitter from last week. Had this happened to us tonight I would probably be tossing my couch and tv out the window.

That call changed everything. Because after that, Harrison misses a floater and then Sam Decker comes down and nails a three. So now, instead of only being up one, the shot clock violation shot that tied it, meant the three pointer gave them a three-point lead. Then Lyles gets called for a charge on a flop and that was ball game.

I don’t have to imagine heartbreak. We saw our undefeated season end on a bad call. We saw our 2017 quest for the championship end on a last second shot by UNC after being cheated all damn game.

I don’t feel bad for any team.

The first half of that game was an absolute clown show by the officials.

Yeah, I guess. Up 5 with like 4 to go? You should win that game. I’ve never rewatched it, and I was ultra loaded during the game. I will never watch that game again. Worst day of my life as a fan.

Harrison didnt miss a floater. He threw an oop, on a designed double back screen to lyles. Josh gasser saw it and jumped on lyles' back. Rode him from the wing to the basket. Should have been intentional. Two shots and the ball. In frustration, trey spun gasser off and gave him a shove. His hand slipped off gasser's shoulder, and limp-wristedly touched his face. Refs go to the monitor to determine the severity. They throw up a replay on the jumbotron, and the first thing you see is trey being intentionally fouled. The place erupted. 10 minutes of replay watching later, a wisconsin team that was exhausted is fresh and ready to play the last 230. It also doesnt hurt that during that last 230 they were allowed to foul whoever, wherever, whenever, without a single whistle. Ive watched that game, in its entirety, three times. Up until that game i still believed in the integrity of the sport. If it were called equally, meaning that what is a foul on one end of the court is a foul on the other end, every wisconsin starter fouls out at least twice. Most of those being picked up in the last 230.

Sports books saved a lot of money that night.
