I thought the same thing. For some reason it just struck me as an Ole Miss name.

No. We all already have all the ascots and pink sweaters we need. That would just be a waste to hand them out.

I'm a little disappointed they didn't give it a retractable roof to honor the tradition of keeping an eye on the weather for Ole Miss basketball games.

Couple of Bears ..

I thought the same thing. For some reason it just struck me as an Ole Miss name.

Tweeted about the "Pav Pad" and they were publically chastised by other Bears that hated the idea.

So naturally, I will continue to call it the PAV PAD.

I think I'll call it the Pad-villion in homage to all the great history in the Tad.

The Pavilion at Ole Miss is too long of a name. Reminds me of

The Derek Zoolander School for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Want to Do Other Stuff Good Too

It's fine, I think the 'Veranda' would have been more Ole Miss. The C-Spire speed zone inside the lobby was originally going to be the 'Landshark Lounge'. Which would have been abominable in my opinion.

When I hear the word pavilion I think of a shed kind of building with no walls in a park.......

Well, pavilion implies an insignificant ornamental structure. Kind of like Ole Miss basketball.

It sounds like a concert venue to me. What a generic name for a arena.

Well it is gonna be a concert arena. And I believe the name is kind of a homage to the old school pavilion style gyms. If you look at the outside design, it's a very classic look. At first I was even kinda iffy about the name, but it's grown on me.

Pavilion is a place for a picnic. Bears love picnics. What's so hard to understand about the name?

So with the sarcasterisks, I assume you mean I hit a home run. I knew you were a fan of mine Rambis.
