I'll take USC cheerleaders over anyone else any day. Maybe UCLA. Laughing

UCLA has more talent, plus Asians...

USC getting some ref help. Two incredibly generous spots, two plays in a row. Some questionable penalties too.

Who is (arguably) the best coach in CFB. Him and Saban. Two pricks. Takes a little mean to get it done. And a lot of talent. tOSU front 7 next year will be absolutely 100% filthy.

I like his game. System always seems to hold those Doke QBs back, but he has NFL talent for sure.

Meyer and Saban have the system down. Guessing Dabo figured it out.

Recycle the backups and recruit more players in every class. Much better chance of having only NFL talent on your roster than those teams that don't recycle the backups in order to replace them with the next recruit with potential.

You can hide coaching deficiencies when you have better talent than every team you play. Those coaches sure figured out the system to make sure they always have the best talent, that's for sure.

The difference you are talking about is that Meyer is able to land big guys that are really really fast. Recruiting smaller guys who can run isn't a choice coaches make over recruiting guys who are just as fast but bigger.

You ALWAYS sacrifice for something, it's never as simple as you make it.

The point is, we as fans based on personal feelings tend to either over value or under value the NFL potential of our Husker players. At this point IMO, Lee is under valued. Lee plays the single most important position on a team, has played in a pro-style WCO, and has been coached by a former NFL QB coach to go with his arm talent. I really haven't seen that much more out of Darnold when I've watched him than I've seen out of Lee considering their respective O lines and receiver talent. JMHO.
Nothing except Darnold makes 10x better decisions and is able to make plays with his feet.

Frost and Nebraska will have a much harder time "stockpiling" talent because we can't just throw true freshman out there in a competition for each spot. Development means projecting a redshirt sophomore or junior who is going to be able to compete with one of Meyer's young studs at the point of contact.

Which is why I don't mind seeing guys like Gates leave because he has been consistently boat-raced on the field to the point where I feel his utility as a starter has reached it's conclusion. Find another guy to take that spot.

Urban can get great talent, no doubt. Can find great players and has great teams. He also has shown he doesn't develop the man as much as the player. If part of your job as a coach isn't to develop players to be successful outside of football, then you're not a coach, sorry. He has a long list of guys who have/had character issues and doesn't look like much if any effort was made to work on that part of coaching. Tebow was the way he is before he got to Urban, so that one doesn't go in the win as a man column.

Saban, don't know as much about but he runs guys off if they don't fit the system. Don't know much as his character development part of his coaching.

I hate Texas but their cheerleaders and LSU's make me feel like a dirty old man whenever they come on tv and I cant turn away in time. :)

Nothing wrong with "admiring" pretty ladies. I like how I'm wired.
