I can't help but wonder if the whole ankle thing last night was a huge act for Heisman votes. The hit looked really soft for the amount of pain he looked to be in, and he didn't show any signs of being hurt after that. I know it is easy for me to say because I didn't feel a thing, but think about the headlines if he "battled back and beat Auburn risking his health for the sake of the team".
Probably not, but interesting anyway.

I think it was real but they loaded him up with fun stuff “to take the edge off”.

Total fabrication. This is Kiffen trying to get him sympathy Heisman moments.

He’s been caught on camera repeatedly yelling at his players to lay down on the field.

Corral's injury wasn't fabricated. They played the backup QB for a series. They wouldn't do that under an circumstance if Corral is healthy.

Corral injured his ankle, and they likely went into the locker room and shot him up. He's beat up, no doubt about it.

I’d bet this is 100% accurate.

He had a tweak to that ankle last week so it he may not be fakery. But I have no doubt that Kiffin will risk Corrall's future to get that next big job so I really hope he is faking it. The kid could be a good NFL QB.

Yea we wanted to get our backup who had never thrown a pass in college into the game to give us a better chance of winning**

Yup. I agree that on replay it didn’t look like it should have hurt him. But it did. Does make me question whether it was already injured and he just hurt it further.

You don’t leave on a damn cart and then come jogging back to the field. Oh, and THEN scramble for a 25 yard TD on two bum ankles.

He made the announcers look like idiots. They were talking like he might be done for the year after watching him writhe around on the ground. Ten minutes later, he’s running 4.5 40’s all over the field.

He fits in just fine in oxford.

I don’t think they was a fake because he started limping on his second step after the hit to his ankle, before the play was over. Perhaps he played it up but the hit to his ankle definitely twisted it a bit.

Kinda was thinking this when I saw the replay. I heard from people he "had a bad injury" and "there was a pop," but when I watched the replay it didn't look very bad.

Some players think they're hurt and assume the worst until everything checks out. Maybe that's what happened with him, but OM does fake injuries non stop so he won't get the benefit of the doubt.
