Does anyone know what happened to Corky Palmer? Just saw a post on Facebook about him possibly needing emergency surgery.

He's had a number of health issues, so could be anything. Heard people talking yesterday but didn't hear the issue.

Corky was having surgery as i understand to remove blockage in his corroded artery. He suffered a stroke during the procedure. Has been critical since.

Many of you know our friend, former USM baseball Coach Corky Palmer. He underwent neck surgery on Wednesday & suffered a stroke following the surgery. He was transferred to St. Dominic's ICU Stroke unit. This morning he had emergency craniotomy surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. He's in critical condition . We are asking y'all to please pray for Corky & his family ! THANKS SO MUCH !!!!

One of my favorite sports personalities of all time. Definitely a character. Used to run into him at a local sandwich shop just about every week. Eccentric but hilarious, and I’m not joking when I say he is a baseball genius. Very down to earth. Hope he’s okay.

Yesterday he underwent another emergency surgery. He’s having some major complications from the stroke. Corky is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet.
