Did anyone else notice Corey Sanders slipping all over the court vs. SB? It was more obvious from the behind the endline where I was sitting I would say. But he had on new shoes (I could tell, they had some grey in them which he never wore before) and he was sliding all over the floor .. caused at least 2 turnovers including a fast break, and also he looked weird stopping on his cross-over which affected his shot for sure. Was happening since the beginning, you would think they could have gotten him a new pair for the second half.

Also, there was one play where Mike got fouled or went for the ball or something and slammed into the small banner board to the left of the hoop in front of the student section, and he limped back down to the other end but he was wincing and definietly looked like he tweaked something .. they left him in and he made a play later and was wincing and hopping again. I'm surprised they left him in, I hope he's ok but that may have been a reason for the weird substitution pattern.

Not sure I saw the Mike thing but I 100% saw Corey kept slipping, and it was totally effecting his ability to get separation. I say he should burn those shoes. Immediately.

Ditto, I didn’t see the Mike incident but Corey was clearly bothered by his sneakers. He continually kept cleaning them with his hands. In fact, the kid was mopping the sweat up on the floor, Corey was like - hold on dude -rubbing his sneakers in it, funny but definitely a problem.

Yeah, I mentioned in my observations post in bac's rant that Corey looked like he was on ice skates. He did a split in the key on one possession as one foot just slid away from him. It killed his first step, and his ability to change direction. Definitely need to put those in a giant shredder and never wear them again.

Didn't notice Mike get banged up. Did notice Geo was slow to get up and limped a bit at one point. Can't really afford to lose either of them, or even have either limited. There's no depth at the guard spot.

Yes , saw Mike Williams hit basket base, always cringe and think of Paul George when somebody hits that.

And YES , saw Corey slide on cple crossovers, I didn't notice the different shoes though.

Same here I was thinking they were going to sub for Mike and 1,000 would come during the Hartford game.

The first person who knows his/her sneakers are not performing properly is the player. How could he just keep trying to play with them if they were simply not working? Scoring a total of 5pts. in the game should certainly have raised somebody's attention.

I have to imagine the RAC floor is in pristine condition...no dirt or dust on surface. For a player to be slipping on that surface is a major WTF. WTF?

Mike Williams has been playing at tops 70% for the past 8 games.

I am sure he wants to play, but I thought resting him after the game it first occurred would have been a better option.
