A real thing of beauty. If his shot can continue to fall, RU will have a much better chance of pulling out some upset wins down the stretch!

The way he bought himself time with that crossover to gather his feet and get a great look was a thing of beauty.

Crossed that dude so bad. I yelled "highlight reel !" as the defender went by and Corey was loading up the 3. Thankfully Corey was red hot shooting today! Kid is a stud !

He was personally at a low in our home game against PSU...his ankle wasn't 100% and he committed some team violation. It showed on the court that day. When he is on his game, like today, we have a shot to win

Corey is really some ball player, especially now that his jumper is back. It's not just his scoring, but also his clutch scoring, his D, his rebounding & all the minutes he is logging. If he develops a left, he'll be able to play anywhere.

i can't post Gifs.
Hopefully this link works. This cross over to step back three is one of the best moves I've seen in so long.
Corey is the man. He was on fire driving the ball and from the outside. If he can continue to work on his shooting game, he will be even more dangerous.

And clean up some silly turnovers.
And become 80% from the line.

But he is definitely the straw that stirs our drink.

I couldn't agree more. There is no reason Corey shouldn't be shooting 80% from the FT line. And you're right. He needs to clean up the TO's especially at game's end.

Listening to his post game as well as prior post game press conferences, it is clear we are watching a young kid mature before our eyes. He credits his teammates and his coach in every response. He is being pushed by a coach and his staff like he has never experienced before and he is embracing it. He is our most talented player on the Banks since Quincy and when he is locked in defensively and confident in his stroke he is one of his he best players in this conference . Just very impressed with his game , his attitude and his maturity. The rest of this year and the next 2 are going to be fun.

Agree 100%. It is a pleasure to watch, and I hope he really has turned a page. The sky is the limit for him.

Expecting to see Cory next year and to see his game when we have a new PG to share the ball handling work load. Playing off the ball will be fun to watch and Mensah the new PG will definitely help his game and help the team too!!

I would like to see Corey play with a big guy that can flush it on a lob or a pick and roll. Corey's assists will go way up. Just because Mensah is being brought in, doesn't mean Corey will not be handling the ball a majority of the time. Corey might play some 2 guard but will still be our best ball screen guard. Very few guards in the Big 10 are able to handle him or stay in front of him and that will continue.

Corey is a point guard. He should be the point guard for the teams sake. For Corey's sake he HAS to be a point guard.
