Reading the tea leaves, you have to think he's going to choose Villanova. Nova wasn't in the picture until last month. Now, Floyd Jr. is already set to announce his decision. Wright is most likely pushing him for his commitment. If it's not Nova, I'll be surprised.

Man if it's Nova -- just shows you how Powerful Jay Wright is.. He can just show up whenever and jump to the front of the line. Seems he's now done that with Mark Armstrong too

Don’t know their needs and scholarships. Will they take both?

What’s the deal with Harris recruiting wise right now ? I know we had others higher on our board but if we need to, could we land him ?

Pierre is no longer in the picture. He transferred to RC and was moved to Lutheran, a school RU has never done well with.Floyd has RU BLOODLINES and is a priority as is Bowen who knows Geo and played in same AAU program as he did. Harris has RU bloodlines but may not have as much mutual interest. Staff is fascinated by the big guard from Cali, Lloyd but he I’ll be hard pushed to leave west coast. We already had that with Gueye the Prolific Center whose brother knew Hayn but told him he was not coming east. I think the Satchel Man (2020 version of brown bag) may be involved with this guy.

UCONN board seems awfully convinced he’s theirs. Too bad if that’s the case, would be a great start to the ‘22 class

Roselle Catholic basketball star Corey Floyd Jr. reclassifies to 2021, will enroll at UConn early

“Coach Kimani called my mom and just offered the situation to us and and after we sat down and looked at it, it wasn’t something easy to agree on 100% but after we sat down and looked at everything, it was the best opportunity for me,” Floyd, 17, said Wednesday by phone.

Floyd said he took several online classes this summer in order to graduate early. It remains unclear if he will redshirt this upcoming season or play with the Huskies.

At least he won't be playing for Roselle Catholic this season. They just recruit more kids every year. It is a joke what these parochial schools can do.
