You know....NO one can get wins WITH ALL THESE injuries IN THIS CONFERENCE! You ARE foolish, and haven't played the game, if you think it's possible. Nope. Not on this or any level. Have they shot themselves in foot and lost a couple they should have won? Abso - fing - lutely! ARE THEY YOUNG???? Abso - fing - lutely. Does it matter in the GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS given the current circumstances? NO. We have good kids coming in next year. THAT is MY litmus test. In the meantime, continue the bashing, it won't matter. Eddie will get his due.

He's going to get next year. But honestly, what do we as fans accept as a successful season? At absolute best maybe they hit .500 overall, if they load up on Kenpom 250-320 for 9 non conference wins, and maybe we can get to 6-12 in conference? But we as fans are supposed to be excited about That? Four years into his tenure...

Rutgers basically has to ask itself if next season's record is worth over $1 million in buyouts, because that's what it'll cost next spring.

Almost want him to come back just to hear how creative he gets with next years excuses... Can hear it now, we are still young, we have players recovering from injury who missed a whole season, blah blah, the no accountability train will continue

It's always seemed absurd to me to point to the absence of Diallo and Doorson as reasons RU is getting absolutely crushed, as if they are anything other than, at best, projects and, at worse, more of the same. That leaves Freeman, who looked like a good player in the preseason while the team was already being more disappointing than expected and whose presence wouldn't somehow stop these historic blowouts.

Again, the injuries are the best thing to happen to Eddie, and we won't ever stop hearing about them.

Why don't people who play the injury card also admit this team stunk with Diallo and Freeman? The only player who hasn't been on the court is Doorson. The guy was obviously going to make the jump from what he was last year to the second coming of Bill Russell to hear the Eddie apologists tell it.

He has guards playing significant minutes at the 4 and earlier the 5 out of necessity. Surely some of you can't be that stupid. But then again...

The point with Doorson is that Lewis would not be playing so many minutes. Illinois game Lewis must have played 40 minutes. Doorson may not be good but to get fresh legs on court is also important. Lewis missed big foul shot vs Illinois, maybe he was tired? People don't consider this stuff?

at some point in time , the usual suspects bash a RU coach and demand their firing--it never fails --forget wins or losses or whether a coach deserves firing or not -- the disease is ingrained and for some reason makes the attacker feel superior--they seem to live for the day when they can say fire the "dreck"

attack posters??? no just the certain malcontents that have the continuing, relentless need to attack our coaches and RU--as if that serves any useful purpose

You are no more than your namesake if you could not see the difference Freeman made on the team. He was our only low post option..Teams do not have to worry about an inside game. Do you think that makes a little difference on how the other coach defends us and whether whatever 3 point shooters we have have more room to get their shot off. Plus he was and would have been our best offensive rebounder and now it is almost non existent . Plus he blocked shots, something we hardly do now. Plus he has the best hands of our big men do when Corey or any of our players throw the ball to him on the break or a pick and roll he is going to catch it first , then he will finish. Your statement is so dumb on so many levels, I wonder if you know anything about hoops.
Diallo was obviously raw and a project, but he is 6'9 with a nice frame to at least defend, get a few rebounds and block a shot per game. Do you think it is better that he defends a 6'9 guy or one of our 6'2 guards that we are left with in a lot of games?
You are right you are a shill

Interesting tidbit:

Coach Jordan has 3,700 Twitter followers

Coach Ash has over 17,000

Corey Sanders has over 19,000

I watched us blow a 16-point lead at St. John's with Freeman and fail to put away a bad Wake team with Freeman.

bingo...these were two games where RU had 13 point lead in the 2nd half against dreck...SJU and Wake have like one conferernce win between the two of them. They are young as RU and SJU particular atrocious...yet some will make an excuse that they weren't jelling yet. Me thinks the contributions are being overrated in the long run

Yes we blew a lead against St. Johns. But we lost because of the end game officiating. And if Sanders or Williams can make a big shot at the end, we beat Wake Forest.

Not really arguing against you guys. Just saying these aren't the best examples to prove your point against coach Jordan.

We did not lose a 16 point lead because of the officials.

We lost to St Johns, Wake and Illinois because big 2nd half leads disappeared due to atrocious defensive lapses.

It's pattern across three seasons.

Losses to Princeton (them cancelled future games), FDU, St. Francis, St. Peter's (handily!). One-point win over Yale. Tied with Rutgers-Newark. The OOC in general this year. Myles Mack bailed us out at Monmouth or else we would have a two-game losing streak against Monmouth.

How many conference wins do we have in three years? Thank God for South Florida, right?!

Things were bad when he got here. But he's made them worse.

The team is on a horrible streak during which they are not even that competitive in many games. The freshman star comes out and states his unequivocal support for the head coach.

I am not lobbying for Coach Jordan to stay, and I am not lobbying for him to go. I am however impressed with this young man's willingness to stand up and be counted

No doubt, he is going to be bashed by the internet experts here, and some will even resort to mocking everyone associated with the team. Sad!
