that part I have no clue. Not sure what we hoped and planned on taking Greene, Johnson, Cooper, Gunnerson and Butler...or evening Coates and so on. I’m curious what our plan is there. We got a number of OLBs we looking at. Kaden Johnson has to be top priority though (I’d assume we’d all agree on that).
It's never over until they sign on the dotted line. This late push for areas of need has been refreshing though. Hope the coaching staff can reel in a couple more big fish.
Keshawn Greene had Miami Hurricanes listed as his leader and most experts thought he was going to pick Miami. He visited them before us and then he visited us and then ended up pulling the trigger with our Huskers and not Miami. Miami was our biggest threat for Greene and they had their shot and we beat them out. I don’t see Greene suddenly changing his mind...could happen but doubtful when he’s already been on visits to his top choices.

Yeah not a great offer list, and he only had 24 tackles this season in 11 games. I'll trust the coaches on this one, but I figured he was a back-up plan to Johnson/Greene/Butler. I don't see how we have room for all of these guys.
I really hope you’re right on this one... I think he is one of our must gets for obvious reasons... but man I just have that gut feeling that it isn’t over yet... you know Miami and FSU will still try to get back In on him... plus side they only have three days to do it if he signs early
I think this means bad things for Butler, but won’t have any impact on Johnson whatsoever - we really, really need Johnson to be a Husker.
I just watched Cooper’s Hudl film and he certainly looks like a plan b type player, but nothing would make me happier than to be wrong and have him be an absolute stud for us.

Im guessing your bad feeling is due to our luck and how things seem to always bite us in the asses the past few years. Biggest thing here with K Greene is he was committed to FSU for a long time and then started to favor Miami heavily. He’s been to each school probably a number of times and he still committed to us during his Official to Nebraska after his official to Miami (his leader). That alone should help you feel better. It’s not like he picked us without seeing Miami, Florida or FSU first. He’s been to each team and seen what they have and have to offer and then seen what we have to offer and picked Huskers...Feel me?
you definitely hit that right on with why I feel the way I do, and I can’t argue your logic, he has been to both already... FSU isn’t too far from where he’s at and he de committed due to the coaching change... so your logic helps me a little I just want signing day to be tomorrow so we don’t have to worry about any of them sliding back in the picture
Agreed, this kid was committed to FSU for almost two years, until a coaching change forced his hand. He doesn't seem to be the type that has a different flavor if the week.
3 Head Coaches in 3 years after decades of consistency. FSU is gonna learn about the effects of coaching turnover. Their loss is our gain!!

Assuming that the logic is you bring-in a JUCO guy to help immediately, I much prefer a 3 for 3 than a 3 for 2
