It's honestly about the same amount right now, but A LOT more time on that number of clients. Seeing really big jump in single member LLC, Schedule C type clients. I've also been doing some valuation/litigation work and you should see the demand to try and get divorces finalized in 2018 before the new alimony rules go in to affect. Pass! Are you and your firm seeing an uptick in individuals asking for tax advice or procuring your assistance for preparation of taxes? I'm getting a lot of questions and I haven't been doing CPA tax work since mid 90's.
Oh god no. I am in no way a scumbag lawyer. I are an accountant. I presume you are talking about alimony settlements? They are strictly based on the income earner, regardless of sex or same sex.Coop from your answer to bru im guessing your a lawyer or something like that , i have a question, since gays started getting married has the laws changed ? Or has it become more of a 50/50 split , im for gays being allowed to marry , was wondering cause i thought when it started coming out it would benefit us guys

What is changing is the deduct-ability for the alimony payer and the inclusion by the receiver. (only on settlements after 12-31-18)
