I know the Yeti Hopper Flip 8 is close enough to the dimension requirements to get in, but were any of you able to get in the Yeti Hopper Flip 12 in every weekend? I received the 8 for Christmas, and plan to switch it out for the 12 if I can get in Dudy Noble without much trouble. Thanks.

All soft coolers that cost more than $20 are banned. No exceptions. Don’t even try the “it was a gift” excuse, either. That won’t fly.

I think it depends on the game and the gate worker. I've walked in with no issue and I've walked in and the said my cooler (soft magellan) was too big. I just kept walking, they didn't come after me. That was during regionals and for the game state wasn't even playing in.

If all you boys get your wish to get Alcohol Sales going at MSU Athletic events it won’t be anymore coolers allowed at Dudy Noble.

This take is dumb. There are coke and water sales in Dudy Noble and you can bring those in. Baseball is different than football. You can't bring anything in davis wade but Cohen would never outlive the outrage if he took coolers and food away from the Dude.

This is the right answer. I've had them tell me my soft sided was too large and then I crammed it down inside the little box they have there to measure by and they let me go. Other gate workers don't even check. I started going in the same gate every game last year and always talk to the workers when I walk up and they recognized me and don't even look any more. As long at its close and you choose the right gate no problems.

On a slightly related matter, you can't take a knife w/ a blade larger than 4" into Davis Wade and you walk through metal detectors. Almost every baseball game last year I carried a large butcher knife that we cut steaks, sausage, tenderloins, etc with and they saw it every game and never said a word other than "bring me some meat" (which I occasionally do) and that buys favor when the cooler is a little larger than permitted.

This the most accurate answer. Some are gung ho about checking sizes and contents, and some don’t care. I’ve seen workers dig in coolers and I’ve had workers never look in it and tell me to save him a few beers.

Don’t know how big a 12 is but the box at the gate is 12x12x12 internal dimensions. A bunch of us in the RV lot spent about an hour testing different coolers and the winner for the biggest allowable cooler is an igloo cube that Dollar General sells. It’s $18 I think and will hold 15 cans with minimal ice.
