watching the game i realized that nebraska is a good team in the making, my hats off to the nebraska players and the colorado players,they put on the game of the day, its one of those games that you feel bad cause there had to be a loser, out here on the west coast i got calls from friends i hadn't heard from, the whole nation watched. nebraska lost but aside from some players missing tackles they put on a show.mark my word this game was a lesson to the players.i feel confident that nebraska will improve.

I used to say things like you are saying, today I realized they are not true. Colorado is a better football team than Nebraska that’s why they won. You just have to ask yourself, how many times will Nebraska lose to an opponent and you say that we were the better team, before you take a step back and see the reality that we are not a better team. We are a mediocre football team that has a 50% chance of beating Norhtern Illinois in a home night game next week. That is where Nebraska football is at as a program.
You aren't going to get people to cool down after a loss to Colorado while being up by 17 at the half.
What this guy said. I am still on board with this staff, but this loss is troubling in a lot of ways. We struggled more than CSU to move the ball, we looked lost on Offense and Defense in the second half. No pressure on the QB after halftime and we can't run out the clock with a lead and less than five minutes to go. Right know Nebraska is not a good team. This is a mentally fragile team in my opinion and that is the biggest issue. They have to learn how to win.
They haven't been a good team for the last couple of years . They are clueless on winning consistently. Were still building the base of what we need to be. It's going to take years.
They need to run the ball well I should say. But I agree with you. They are 4-8 and that’s just what I’ll believe till it changes
It shouldn't have to take years. I'm watching Fresno St right now. Tedford turned it around right away. There is something undeniably wrong with this team and I'm not sure even Frost knows what the problem is. He sounded mystified after the game.
It’s like the entire offense completely shut down in the second half because they had a 17 point lead and the play calling reflected that as well. Martinez looked shackled or even neutered out there in the second half in terms of what he was doing and the play selection.
The team and the staff should be trying to score 70 points every game, not be content with a three position lead and try to preserve it by going conservative and trying to burn the clock, especially when you don’t have the o-line to just run the ball and burn clock.
It lacks the knowledge of how to win. Killer instinct . It lacks identity. It doesn't have talent on the offensive line or the commitment to run the ball. That's just a few off the top of my head.
Frost and his staff got owned today - by a rookie head coach and novice staff. There is no sugar coating this mess today. This was bad. I’m afraid we haven’t seen the worst of it this year.
