Down 13, feels like down 20. Also, Temple lost to ECU tonight so if we could manage to come back and win we'd be in 1st/2nd place all by ourselves.

Nic Moore has nothing on Gray Jr.

I've never seen a player past junior high that screams and jumps around wanting the ball on every freaking possession.

Also I am awful luck.

At least were playing toward the bigger basket this half. That one we were shooting at in the first half was obviously from a state fair or something.

Second half 2 minutes and 12 seconds and Wright is back on the bench...

I'm way past ready for Smith to graduate. I had such high hopes for him. He never got better and is soft. Dre is softer and lazy.

This officially crushes any at large hope

I think thats what I hate the most...

we win 5 in a row..granted four of those are against the worst teams in the league...my hopes get up...and then this.

It just sucks.

We are getting freaking destroyed, and there's no one reason, its in multiple facets of this game. Embarrassing.

Had a bad feeling about this one. We look a step behind, almost the reverse of what we saw Sunday.

Horrible basketball. Full court press for rest of game is only chance of miraculous comeback.

This coach is an absolute joke. I hate to use the word coach. The only reason we win any games is we have someone get hot for us. No teamwork, no plays, only play a zone on D, no press no man on man. We have no one over 6'4" who can play a lick in the past three years. This may be the worst shooting team in TU history.

BigZit not posting in this thread is the biggest disappointment of the night.

Oh well. Its just never going to be 2000 again.

Its been 16 years since we were relevant. Thats a really long time.

No way is this game on the coaching staff. They should've switched the defense, doesn't matter now, but the coaching staff can't make baskets for the team when the shoot 2-14 from 3 on wide open shots.

Blame recruiting, blame poor shooting, but this is definitely not on bench coaching.

So who decides what defense you play? Who decides who plays? Who decides who you recruit? Who decides how you run you offense? Who decides what shooting drills you work on?
The only thing you can't blame on the coaches is when poor shooter don't get better.
Name the player in this team that is significantly better than he was as a freshman. Maybe Swanagen and that's not saying much.

OMG. Robinson for Houston breaks out press twice resulting in a dunk and a layup plus one to baseline big we ignore. We don't know how to adjust.
Our whole team is just standing around. So Harrison gets junk points by just dribbling into the lane over and over while everyone else watches.
Great basketball.

I would put it 100% on the coaching staff. Not a single adjustment made until the 12 min mark. Have we shot well? No, but who is allowing them continue to take 3s? We have 59 with 4 left. If we play any defense at all we're still in it.

I just wish that Woodard and Harrison could play with next years front line. We will be so much better there next year.

Right. So the team that beat SMU lays a worse egg that TU at ECU. Didn't Cinci lose to Houston too? A lot of teams now days seem to have awful outings.

TU goes 3 for 26 from the 3...

Geeez... a guy playing HORSE can turn his back to the basket and hit a better percentage from the 3 than that!!!

We are not great but outside of SMU and maybe Cinci every team in this league is very imconsistent at best. Do not count us out just yet for a run at the tourney this season. This said despite our obvious limitations.

Why did Kelvin leave Curtis and Shaq open for threes??? Surely a misthought on his part. Looked like daring a Wojcik team to shoot except to guard Juice.

The fact we are12-7 with our shootinproblems is pretty amazing and actually points toward good coaching. /yes disappointed in recruiting last year. None are great. The guys coming looks like upgrades but wil not know until they arrive. Sorry verdict on coaching too early. Unlike Woj who recruited great but had no ability to coach.

I just got back to my hotel room... noticed the score but don't really care that much. I kind of expected that display of crap. Wright stinks. And Tulsa can't shoot w any consistency. NIT is the goal for this very mediocre team.
