Big time win for you all against the Shockers. Something to remember is big time players make big time plays, and your guys are big time.

It'll take a really good effort to beat UCLA and UNC, but Calipari is the best coach in the region.

Couple things...

1. How about Duke losing? Only down fall is that they have a head start on recruiting. I know I've said Giles may come back, but that may have been pre-mature. I double checked and several are telling me he's probably going.

Coach K is selling recruits as of last week that just about EVERYONE is leaving.

2. I think you'll hear more about your 2018 point guard in the next couple months, I mentioned it last thread. It's looking to be wrapped up quickly... I bet it's finished by August.

3. I'll be in Memphis and Phoenix over the next couple weeks. Both for myself professionally to network and I want to see some great basketball.

If you guys have any questions that I may be able to answer, just post them and I'll see what I can do over the next couple weeks. Be patient with me with some of them, they may takes some digging.

I'm super curious if there are any rumors about UK recruiting any junior college guards. If Briscoe leaves as expected we are going to need more guards and Cal HATES the senior graduate transfer rule and we aren't recruiting any more high school guards.

Nothing new to report, but I've always said I really like UK's chances and it just makes sense.

Any chatter of IU's next coach and how do coaches look at IU? Is it still considered one of the elite jobs or has it started to lose some of its shine?

What is the perception of Lavar Ball among coaches? Seems like Lonza is the best of the bunch, will the other brothers even be able to live up to this absurd hype Lavar has created? Lavar just seems like a walking, talking, waiting to be recruiting violation to me.

The IU coach is something, I'll have to gain scoop on when I'm in Memphis and Phoenix. I'm glad Crean is gone, he did a friend of mine pretty dirty.

I don't deal with kids of that talent at this stage of my career, but we try and not take kids with "crazy" parents if we can help it. You do that while recruiting them. The Ball's are crazy talented and coaches will put up with it for wins.

I'm cheering for Kentucky. I worry about the 3 and 4 spot for UK. Leaf is a nightmare. I like UK's guards better but UCLA's bigs.

Power conference probably would be my job after this next one. I'm looking to get into a Low/Mid D-1 or I may try my shot as a head D2 if someone would take me.

So, basically to be a P5 school, you got to bring players. I'm not sure the connections I have to 2018 and 2019 people are strong enough for high major.
