They got lucky a couple times for sure, but there is no question they are a great team. Their defense was excellent and they always seemed to make plays offensively when needed.

Virginia deserved to win the championship and congratulations are due, but I also congratulate Texas Tech a gutsy good team that came short in overtime. They should be very proud of their performance.

Lived in Tidewater area (Newport News/Hampton/ VaBach) for 20 years. Great state. Charlottesville is a beautiful town. Home of Earl Hamner of The Walton’s.

It takes some luck to win the tournament, and Virginia definitely had some good karma on their side throughout...especially against auburn...if they didn't have a foul to give they probably win with the heave and miss, but man could they execute under pressure...composure. they didn't fold...impressive run imo.

Congrats UVA, I love their style of play and appreciate their coach. It's good basketball. Style of play should not dictate one's enjoyment over a more self-centered belief that it should matter.
